Yes but it needs shortened and you have to change the rear flange to the one on the stock cobra driveshaft. That's what i did but it's probably cheaper to have one custom made.

Hello everybody,
So me and my friend at work are going to be working on an external gear display for the Quick 6 controller. The consensus is that it’ll be easiest to tap into the signal for up and down shifts coming from either a button, like the one from power by the hour, or paddle shifters. I don’t feel comfortable opening up my controller and soldering and messing around in there so it will be an non intrusive design. If there’s some interest let me know. I will talk to him and if we can get it work well I will sell some and make like 20-30 of them.
If this works well we may try to make a more comprehensive display coming from the USB port that can display multiple parameters like gear, temperature, voltage and whatever else the controller outputs but that’ll be a long time away as it’s just a little side project

emailed us shift about this and they said the flash memory is probably bad. This is the second time this has happened. Also had other issues with their controller. They have great customer service but the problems with the controller are getting old.

I sent them my last tune file and a handful of datalog files including my OSS ERROR during my burnouts and my problem with WOT shifts not occurring at the commanded RPM and having to lower the WOT shift rpm to 1/2 (3500rpm) to get it to shift at 7000rpm.
Zero response and it's 2 days later. Still waiting..........................

Haven’t had any of those issues but mine just started not wanting to stay in manual mode...not sure if it’s the controller or my wiring yet though.

Any updates??

Went to the track this past weekend and got the error code for the first time after the burnout it was on my second pass. I still have the intermittent issue of the car not wanting to stay in manutronic mode even when I have it set to be in manutronic mode upon start up. The car did make its fastest pass ever so I’m going to stick with the controller and try to figure it out. The last pass my car blew either the heater core hose or the head cooling mod and lost all coolant so now I have to pull the trans out to fix it.....

Actually got a response from Karl. After looking at my logs, he confirmed I was not getting a consistent RPM (tach) signal. I had been using the Tach adapter per their instructions, but being my car is a 98 model, I removed it and have now tapped into my tach signal right off the cluster. I can clearly see a consistent RPM (tach) signal now and sent Karl this to examine as well.
Unfortunately I have not been able to get back to the track to confirm if this has fixed the wide-open throttle shift yet, on the street it spins too badly to know.

Separately, Karl stated that the OSS error during the burnout - "We made an attempt to fix the OSS error at the end of a burnout, but it is still persisting for some people. For now, if you can taper off the throttle at the end of the burnout, so that the tires do not slow down so abruptly, that should prevent the error until we come up with a permanent fix."
Again, not been able to test that out either but will try to see if I can do it less abruptly along with my cleaner tach signal to see if that has made a difference.

If I could just get a couple track passes, I would be able to provide some solid updates, but for now I'm waiting to do just that.

Thanks for the updates..I just been street driving mine lately....really know notable issues with the controller so far...haven't beat on the car quite yet, I think I've become gun shy.

I wanted to add a part number for posterity. I could not find this in any of the threads for the 4.6 6r80 swap. The torque converter inspection plate that goes with the starter index plate / separator plate.

Cap - Ford (6L2Z-7986-AA)

Any progress on that project? It’s something I’d be interested in.
