Its the same thing as Paul Walkers daughter trying to sue Porsche isn't it. Likely wont do anything negative as far as gun laws go. Even if they could prove that stupid quote.

Both his daughter and father filed suit against Porsche. They claimed "wrongful death" due to lack of proper safety equipment based on the car's performance level. Porsche settled both claims out of court with NDA's firmly attached.

I hope they waste thousands of dollars, because they are going to lose.
