I’m estimating I have about 20hrs left so if the computer and engine wiring show up this week it could be done by this weekend if I don’t get called out for work!

Over a year later... but well done! Ford powered, right? And you beat your best time-slip from when it had an LS motor. Win!

I don't know about that. It is a funny thing when I look at old cars. I expect them to sound a certain way because of the body style and when they don't it is kind of a let down. At least it is for me. Not that the new engine sounds bad it is just that it doesn't sound like it is supposed to. Does that make any sense?
Not trying to say anything negative about what you are doing just expressing a personal opinion.

Makes perfect sense to me. Some people were suggesting I put a Coyote in my 65 Mustang project. It may be a more efficient motor and sound good, but it is not a pushrod motor and will not have that thump. My 65 has to sound old school for me. So, I get you 100%.

OP, great car and awesome that you put a Coyote in it in order to replace that Chevy motor. I know everyone is different, but I hate when people put Chevy motors in Fords...……. Kudos to you for changing it up!!!
