Not much activity in this forum, whats everyone doing with their Bosses? I haven't done much, just working on paying it off. Hopefully with be done next summer. I did add LTH Headers, X pipe with the side exhaust and GT500 Quads. Also added an MGW shifter. Car shifts good but the clutch still sucks, I really want a TR6060 with a Mantic clutch. one day..

Just had a stage 1 Whipple kit installed on mine. I went from a Hellcat to my Boss and although I like the car it didn't seem fast...the Whipple fixed that. Haven't had a lot of time to drive it, but looking forward to next year.

OP - get a good clutch installed and it will make driving the car so much more fun. Should have been the very first thing I did to the car in hindsight.

That's the plan! trying to decide if I will end up boosting it or not. had a whipple on my S550 and loved it. I think that choice will dictate my clutch choice too.

A blower would be hilarious on a Boss for sure! No matter what you decide, once you are able to snap off 7500+rpm shifts with no lockout or hesitation because of your new clutch, you will love the car even more. My AED tuned Boss made peak power at about 7800rpm on the dyno recently and shifting that high is so much fun.

Agreed, Im really leaning towards a Ported CJ setup on E85 and some CJ cams if I can find them. Would compliment the car and still be usable on the street.

I recently put my car back to stock as much as possible (left 6R80/OPG’s) in order to sell it. Funny thing happened...the car looked brand new again after removing the tint just like the time I first saw it. It also sounded great again with the stock headers/side pipes back on. And the ride was smooth again with the stock control arms back on.

Then I decided to look back on some of my old posts here and it hit me. I’ve fallen back in love with this car again! long story short, it ain’t going anywhere! Well except to the shop to get this turbo/converter & fuel system installed.

did you get a new tune for the car after the long tubes or just running the stock tune?

Soooo...something came up. Sold the turbo kit this weekend before it was scheduled to be installed today. And this may be my last night with the ole girl. Had a blast with it though. Never gave me a problem, only 23000 miles of smiles. Something tells me I’ll be back in another one day.
