Nothing against either of you personally, but this is why I haven't been to SEMA the last few years. It's packed with people who have no business there, taking up space and making it hard to do business. I'm hoping some day they require a photo ID matching badge to get in, like the autoshows. I know it's a bucket list show for car guys (and I understand wanting to go), but it's a tradeshow first.

Looking forward to PRI though. Less crowded, but Indy in winter sucks. Needs to be moved back to Orlando.

The organization pretends they want to keep it business only but they actually want the increased traffic. They would have started cracking down on it years ago if they were serious.

Until a sizable amount of vendors say "no more" they aren't going to do anything about it.

I've seen so many dudes with straight up girl names like Sarah or Beverly and shit.

Same here. I heard the bag check lines were long this year. I still prefer PRI.

My theory as well. It can be one thing on paper, but another in real life.

I'll admit I have no business going, but every year it's high on my list of things to do...but I always forget till like October. I set a reminder in my phone for next June. I'll start looking for tickets then.

There is a Facebook group called SEMA Fails that has tons of scary pictures of cars on display there. Lots of Brodozers with bluetooth driveshafts. Makes me think that any car on display should be required to be offloaded at LVMS and driven to SEMA.

There were a LOT of Supras. They don't get better looking to me after seeing more and more of them. Neither are the C8s (there were 3 there that I saw). EDIT there were 4, forgot about the C8R

I’d be more interested in this. Sema builds all seem like flash and no substance.

There are some serious builds, even if not balls to the wall for performance, the craftsmanship, and finish quality are unreal....

But also, some truly practical vehicles, that really make sense.
