I am. Crate aside, Demon is a factory car, Mustang is not.

Crate is OEM, Mustang Supercharger is Aftermarket.

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer, which is what Dodge gives you.
Aftermarket - This is what Lebanon gives you with a standard GT and a blower.

Kthxbye.
How hard is this to understand?

I agree with you on the Lebanon mustang

The rules are simple

The car as factory sold. Nothing added. This means tires, blowers computers fuel octane Nothing. No track orientated mods, no weight saving mods, No substitutions, no adding things after the fact nothing. How can you compare cars if the goal post is always moving. That is what stock means.

Boss mustang tune that is fully warranty with the track key. No this is a mod
DT on a 13/14 GT500. No this is a mod
DT on a Hellcat. No this is a mod
substituted tires on Demon because they came with them. No this is a mod
Lebanon Mustang. No this is a mod
Yenko Camaro. No this is a mod

Lots of people like to muddy the water because some points in their argument do meet the requirements but then are disqualified for not meeting ALL requirements.

Like the crate
OEM parts? Yes
Can you buy it at time of sale? Yes
Does it come with a warranty? Yes
is it installed at time of sale? No so it classified as a mod.

This has nothing to do with brand loyalty, being a hater or troll, or not a true car guy as some people like to use. I call this "Cancel Culture" and they seem to pull this out when they cannot backup their point. I have tried to address all points and answer every question. I don't just keep repeating my points and ignore all others.

I think your misunderstanding the point... his reasoning for it being stock (invoiced, bought from dealer, OEM parts) are being compared. The Lebanon example was showing how those mean very little to what’s being discussed.

Not missing the point at all, as I'm not the one who compared apples and oranges.

We agree on certain things, but, I'll elaborate below.

Demon is offered by Dodge, not individual dealers, with a crate for extra money. It is not what I would consider a "mod" making it "not stock" if installed after. It is OEM parts, provided by the manufacturer, at time of purchase.

The boss is the same thing. The car is sold with multiple keys and either can be used. The keys are OEM parts as advertised by Ford, not the individual dealership.

Out of that list, the Mustang @ Lebanon is the only true aftermarket car with a warranty. The rest are actually factory cars at the end of the day. Yes, the crate is a "dealer installed" item, but, it is still a genuine, non-aftermarket part and shouldn't be considered a modification.

Yes, swapping tires is definitely a change and the car cannot be claimed as stock. A true stock car, would be one raced with components supplied by the factory. Essentially, the crate is unleashing the full potential of the Demon. In this case, if the OP actually had the original tires and just the crate components installed, I would truly consider it a stock car.

But, different tires, weight reduction, etc. That is not stock in my book.

It's OK if we have different opinions and definitions of stock vs. non-stock.

What about the fact that Dodge called them aftermarket?
What about the fact you have to order your crate after the purchase? by calling a number?
What about the fact these parts have to be installed after the purchase?
What about the fact that these parts are track only?

It’s all about liability my friend.

Not sure if you know this. But you have to take your car in and get the computer reprogrammed. Didn't come with them.

"The TracKey PCM software, installed by an authorized Ford racing dealer after a customer takes delivery of the car, adjusts variable cam timing, spark maps, engine braking, fuel control and other engine parameters – more than 200 in total – to provide a complete race car calibration. The result is an aggressive, race-bred driving experience all the way down to the lopey idle rumbling through the Boss quad exhaust."

Sound very similar to the discussion?

Why because I didn't put up a meme insulting you? I didn't say you were molested by your step dad? If you like that there are many people here who are more than willing :) .

For someone who owns one you have been very quiet. Please explain the process on how you got the crate and had the parts installed?

As I pointed out exclusiveness doesn't make it showroom stock.
