Finally getting closer to where my times should be. This was the first time I took off air filter for the track and it helped that the density altitude was -1900.

[email protected] with a 1.77 60'. Like title says this is a stock mustang with a Paxton kit, fuel system, drag radials and drag shocks. I was datalogging with my laptop but something happened to my laptop during the run and it no longer works...

Ran another [email protected] last friday with -450 ft DA. 1.852 60', [email protected] 1/8; will post timesheet next post. It is time to turn it up. I am ordering OPGs/CS today so I feel a little more comfortable turning it up. Looking at my options to get consistent mid-low 10s and open to suggestions.

Option 1 - CircleD 3C and transbrake
Option 2 - wastegate setup
Option 3 - ? exhaust? something else?
Option 4 - 3.60" pulley?
Option 5 - 15" slick with light drag wheels? (currently running heavy 18" american muscle wheels with 305 x 26" tall MT Drag radials)

I like keeping the car quiet as I daily it 2-3 times a week and work in a professional environment. Are there any good QUIET exhausts out there that will still pass inspection? I think the down low issues are due to stock exhaust but I know the centri's have these issues which is why I am leaning towards Option 1 or Option 2. I am running ~22 deg of timing and can email (or post?) datalogs if anyone is interested; I have forwarded the datalog back to Lund to see if there is anything else I can do. Right now it is shifting at 7700RPM so I think the OPGs are a must.

The drag radials on 18s will have to go eventually but right now I am not breaking the tires loose on the launch so no point in going 15s yet. I am sure after I get the low end there it will be the next step. Might help to have a lighter rim though?

15's on the rear and a converter will help you out tremendously. How much boost is it making? You have a 9 second car car with the addition of these items, pulley swap, and a tune tweak. Just for comparison on a different older platform. My 04 Mach 1 stock motor and trans 3600lbs with a Vortech S at 12psi, 3600 stall, and only 14* E85 tune went 11.00 last week. You should be royally kicking my ass.

I have kept the car turned down as much as possible to avoid buying a new engine, suspension, transmission parts honestly. It is currently making ~10-11 psi. Thanks for the suggestions. The S197 coyote limit with oil pump gears (which I just purchased) is what I am trying to do more research on to understand what is "safe" as I want this setup running for the next 3-5 years as a second daily driver.

3.48 pulley at that boost level?

How much timing? Car should trap higher with that much boost on e85.

3.80 pulley. Stock exhaust may be acting as big backpressure. Timing is 22 or so, still working on getting that dialed in with lund.

backpressure is my best guess? Here is my dyno run; this was with the jlt cold air intake on. When I take it off at the track it spikes a little more.

get some cat deletes if you want to keep the exhaust tame- and have them retune it - you will probably pick up 20-25 rwhp under boost- plus ever mile you drive your car now with the cats you are just destroying them- it is just a matter of time before they fail and clog-

I vote for catless midpipe, take some weight off the nose(battery, radiator support, bumper support, etc) , and do a nice light drag pack. 15s in the back, 17s up front.

Update - I bought an offroad h-pipe, oil pump gears, crank sprocket and a wastegate setup. Lets see how that helps the launches!!

Put the OPG's in first, like this weekend. Then put the ORH on. Return the wastegate and get a 3.6". If you like stalled cars get the stall and run low 10's worry free. I picked up 20 ft/lbs of torque and lost 50whp.

Not bad, tune still needs work only made 1 run. 1st gear didnt switch til almost 8100rpm, need to fix that asap. Also only 20deg of timing. Hoping for 10.50s when that is worked out.
