WOW! Love that color. Thank you, please update me when you can.
Will do. FYI, none of our stuff was covered under warranty as far as I know at this point. Everyone I know with a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, etc has the same issue with maintenance. At the end of the day they are low volume cars. I have some of the same issues with the V....outrageous maintenance costs and mindbogglingly retarded engineering decisions.

It's a different animal than a Corvette or similar performance car. They're much more visceral. At the end of the day that's why you enjoy the car over a Vette, GT500, Hellcat, etc. It's why sometimes the faster car isn't always the most fun to drive. What everyone looks for in a car is different though.

I think they’re better looking than any Mclaren made in this decade, so it has that. But I don’t even want to know what the maintenance costs will be like. Personally, I say you shouldn’t have gotten rid of the C6ZR1, but buy what makes you happy. Just be ready to get rid of it before the warranty ends. Knowing your car buying habits I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue.
I also say ACR over 4C.

Pick your poison.

675LT looks better and the P1 trumps all
I didn't like the P1 in person. I'd still own one if I could but I didn't think it looked as good in pictures.....could have been the color because the car was wrapped. I like the 12c and 720 but none of the cars in between. McLarens are strange cars, some colors make the cars look great and others make them look terrible by accentuating the wrong lines. They're oddly polarizing with different color combinations.

Im an odd one, the only modern mclarens I think look good are the 12c and 675lt. The P1 looks like it was designed by aliens in not a good way

After researching the car for 2 days, talking to the previous owner, Mclaren Chicago and Mclaren NA I have decided to pull the trigger. I appreciate everyones response, good or bad. The car will have 2 years of warranty, bumper to bumper, as part of the deal.

I did want to mention that many of you seem to be afraid of foreign cars, specifically euro. I have never experienced a catastrophic failure on any of my euro cars. They have been extremely reliable and fun to drive. Both my AMG cars are literally built like tanks. My audi RS7 got pounded on for nearly 2 years, 20K and never missed a beat. Yes, you go in for some warranty nonsense (gas cap flap would stick on the audi) but the overall experience has been incredible on all my euro cars. Not to mention the customer service from MB and Audi have been excellent.

Matter of fact I have only experienced catastrophic failure on my american cars, specifically my c6z06. I was one of the many many people who had the motor blow up on my Z. 20K in damage with no warranty.

Anyways, I will post pics later. I am supposed to pick her up around 230pm. Let's hope she makes it home and doesnt break down. lololol

Congrats?

It’s an exotic, but probably slower than every car you’ve owned recently.

I’m a huge fan of the looks of the 570s and performance of the 720.

i'm beggin ya to go lotus instead but hey bro its your dollars. have fun.

also, you might wanna make sure that warranty doesn't go void if you track the car. its not uncommon for that to be the case.
