Those of you with and older or younger significant other. What sort of age Gap is there?
What do you think the limits of age Gap is? Does it matter if you're both older(or is 60/40 the same as 40/20?)

When I was 35 I was in a serious relationship with a woman 10 years my senior and my mother flipped her wig. Everyone has their own parameters. I always said I would never go more than 10 years in either direction.

Ive literally been looking into this the past couple weeks. I am talking to a girl who is 5 years younger than me(I'm 25) she will be 21 in January. According to society its normal but I have a moral dilemma with it. I always had a strict rule not to date anyone more than 2 years younger than me. And I know my parents wouldn't really approve of the 5 year gap. My thought process is when I was 18 she was 13. That's creepy. Then I think about people like Dennis Quaid who is 65 is getting married to a 26 year old.

lol @VegasMichael ...my folks freaked out too...I was dating an older Costa Rican chick in her late 30s, around 38/39 when I was 21-22...I always had a thing for older women...

lmfao me too. I tried to smash a woman who was in her late 40s when I was like 28 just because of this. I should have tried harder because I bet I could have gotten it too. Those internet apps, man I was really on a roll at one point in my life lololol

I "dated" a woman who was 39 when I was 30. I started thinking about what my family would say when they saw the age difference so I stopped talking to her.

My ex was a 27yr old stripper. I was 40 at the time. Worked out great in the end.

That's a small gap to me. My ex wife was 6 years younger

As long as they're over 21 then I don't see the issue. I've never dated anyone quite older or younger than me. Always ended up with someone within a year or year and a half.
2 buddies of mine have both been with women that were 37-40 and they were 22-25 at the time lol.

I tried dating strippers on several occasions, it never really worked out for me in the end, the longest it ever lasted was several months. Though I had lots of fun!

I dated a 20 year old when I was 28, we were together for a few years on and off. Looking back, the difference was night and day. She was immature though so that shouldnt be a knock on a large age difference. But, I couldnt imagine doing that again if I could go back in time.

I guess that's the one benefit of not having parents and your only somewhat immediate family is in another timezone.
Too bad I spend most of my time awake working...

When I was younger it almost seemed odd liking anyone my sisters age, and shes just 18 months younger.
Today it's more a case by case basis, but 21 to almost 50 doesn't seem that drastic, with a cone of 24-34 for more serious (I'm 36.)
