I am in the market for a Terminator. I want to close on a deal before Spring 2020. I am looking for a full interior, 800hp+ Terminator Coupe. Your Cobra must be happy in gridlock traffic. No trailer queens, no track-only cars! Also, your Cobra must be street legal and have a clean title. I was entertaining super low mileage, but I just can’t get over the hurdle of modifying pristine examples. I am looking to fly the contiguous 48 states for anyone that matches with my needs.
My reasoning for being so picky, is that awhile back, I was involved in a work-related accident, leaving me with permanent severe back pain and a fractured vertebrae (surgery in 2020). I can no longer work on cars like I used to. I would love to build it up from stock and give myself the satisfaction, but, I don’t have the physical ability to anymore.
So, I am coming here, to get a feel of what there is on the market. I did just miss out on a TT 900hp DSG from davisautosales.com, that my business partner found. I am interested in any twin turbo, single turbo, or supercharged Cobras that fit my buying guidelines.
Please entertain offers concerning ONLY coupes with CX/G2/G6/UA paint codes. I am not looking to respray or wrap, so I am pretty dead-set in those colors. Exterior should look great & you must have the factory wheels come with (on/off of the car). Interior color should just be good looking factory pieces. Keep in mind, again, it has to have full interior: a/c, stereo, heat, panels, carpeting, back seat (useable & easily accessible if it has a cage), etc. I am absolutely okay with a fuel cell. I’m not held back by only having a T-56. I will entertain built automatics.
Lastly, I am aware that most of these 800hp+ cars are on E85. That fuel is generally tough for me to get, within reason. I’d want 93 pump, but E85 works as well... Regardless, I want to have no less than 800rwhp on 93.
If your car fits my needs and has extensive documentation, 900hp+ street tune, and 1,000hp+ race tune (reliable), I am looking at you first!
*NOTE*: Please verify your car can hook and book, preferably with 1/4 mile times. I am looking for nothing slower than a 9 second pass. I want a proven Cobra with supporting mods (engine/suspension/fuel) that is a street slayer. The more streetable/daily, the better. Not looking for Cobras with overheating issues, alternator problems, boost hiccups, or “needs work”.
