Nice looking car!
Awesome wheels. Custom built?? They make a great wheel.
Thank you sir. I’m sure the Saleen purists aren’t exactly thrilled about taking an authentic car and modifying it to this degree but imo this car was saved. I’d stack it against any new edge in the country. And yes, there’s nothing like a one off Forgeline wheel! Super light

That’s because it’s NEW :D
Thanks for your support brother

I wish mine was anywhere near that clean but I bought most of my shit used to fit the budget lol. This build really makes me wanna grab a CF Mach1 hood before it goes to the paint shop though

I almost don't want to mention it because you know how i feel about this build--AMAZING.

BUT!!

That steering wheel! The only thing that is left to fix is that damn steering wheel.

Amazing though sir.. .all the way around. LOVE this car.

Haha! What would you recommend for a steering wheel?

So I’m very curious. I’ve been doing this long enough to know the answer is ultimately “whatever someone is willing to pay”. But....if this were your car; what would you ask price wise?
General details to help:
-54k mile real 01 Saleen
-50k ish in new parts (wheels and EFI alone are $10k lol)
-fresh paint ($7k job)
-essentially flawless everywhere

I want to see if my expectations are in line or close to general consensus. I sold (traded plus cash) my TT 03 for $30k in like 2 days with far less invested, though still super nice. I know my chances of finding another trade partner are better than a all cash offer but I’d love some feedback nonetheless

Would be very nice with something with material that matches the shift boot and e brake boot. Hell, maybe even re cover the stock wheel to match the shift and e brake boot material.

I don’t think you’re replicating a build like this for under 60k with out factoring in price of car alone. It’s tough to say as this is looking for a very specific buyer that has cash and wants a turn key car.

the average person is likely going to say oh 30k but it’s definitely worth more then that.

35k cash or trade is my number. That feels objectively reasonable. The next owner gets to essentially “drive it off the lot”. It’s only seen the sun for pics since being painted lol
A trade would have to be for a terrific foundation for a project and a sizable amount of cash :D
My Lord that is beautiful!
Gracias sir!

Jesus man. That is a freaking deal and a half.

When do we get to know numbers and driving impressions?

It’s a TON of car dollar for dollar imo

Holley expert is supposed to come out this week and get the street driving tune dialed in, so hopefully shortly thereafter I’ll take it up to see Donnie Walsh to see what it does on the dyno. If it doesn’t snow first

^^^ thanks!!

btw imo the most underrated aspect of this build is the Holley screen. Gives the interior a completely different feel. Zero need for additional gauges that clutter up a cockpit. Not to mention an immediate modernization of a 20 year old car. Plus when the car is off you just see...clean and black
