Smokes a little on start up

My Cobra always smokes a very faint blue smoke on start ups . I just had the engine rebuilt by a VERY reputable builder and the car stops smoking seconds after start up . The car runs amazing, smooth , all the above , I’ve heard it’s normal but makes me paranoid .

Maybe I'm off with this, and I'm definitely no expert, but if it's a blueish smoke it could just be the effects of blow-by. When it gets worrisome is when it doesn't go away after startup, unlike yours. You could probably solve this with a catch can setup.

Does it smoke every time you start up? I only get a small puff of smoke every once in awhile. All my mod motors have had the small puff of smoke. I've owned 3 Cobras and a excursion v-10 and they all did the same thing.

Pull the plugs and check to see if oils on them. Oil on thread might be just a valve cover gasket, oil on the inside of the plug valve seals or rings are bad
