That's a damn good looking bike man! I'd say do all the work yourself. It's much cheaper on the Japanese bikes vs Euro bikes. At the end if the day you bought an SP and as long as the frame, suspension and ect are not damaged you faired pretty well IMO.

Definitely get factory replacement fairings. You stole the bike at that price imo. Nice pickup.

Marc and I at Nashville SX this year.. :D

being a Rossi fan, lol I have a natural distaste for Marq, but **** that kid can ride! he will easily eclipse what Vale has done, his knack for getting out of hairy situations when riding on the edge is amazing!

Fix it yourself. I was surprised how easy it was every time I tore down my 848 Evo and put it back together. I imagine a Honda would be even simpler than the Duc.

As far as the minor cracks go on the fairing pieces, go talk to a body shop that has a plastic welder. I believe we had a specific type of plastic that we could use that would work on that type of plastic at the shop I used to work at. Fairing plastic is hard to work with because it is a more brittle plastic and doesn't melt or conform easy, but there were a number of occasions where we repaired cracks in fairings whether it was using the plastic welder or an epoxy solution.

Tore her down on Monday gang...lots more damage than anticipated! Fairing stay on the beak was slightly bent, which caused the fairings to be impossible to line up, the left side of the bike was even more rashed up than the right (once I pulled the fairing) and there was a small oil leak from the crank cover from the rash...just a drop but enough to piss me off...haha.

Theres an allen head bolt missing its head on my front rotor...not a biggie but will need to use an easy out. The dummy PO literally clogged up the intake ducts in the nose of the bike by installing the rubber flap inside the tube instead of the outside...crazy part is the bike runs perfect...can't see how that was happening with those intake ducts like that...

the good new is she is getting fixed as we speak...i'll post pics once she is done.

Ha! Nice! How tall is he?

He's not super short like some riders. . I remember being by Pedrosa several times thinking this can't be real. Lol He is a tiny little fvcker. I'm 5'11 to give ya an idea on Marquez.

being a Rossi fan, lol I have a natural distaste for Marq, but **** that kid can ride! he will easily eclipse what Vale has done, his knack for getting out of hairy situations when riding on the edge is amazing!

Trust me, I agree with you. I'm a big Rossi fan myself, but Marc is just on a completely different level which is evident seeing crutch and Jorge struggling.

Anyway, I was with the Hayden's in a suite and I guess RedBull got the suite next to us. It was loaded with riders. Dovi, Marc and his brother... A lot of moto2 riders etc. I have more pictures but I didn't want to be to much of a creep. I told Tommy I wanted a pic with Marc though and he made it happen. Nicky's little nephew Colt is actually next to me in one of the pics. I thought that was really cool.

A bit off topic but I can remember many many years ago when Nicky told me about Marquez (when Nick was still on a Repsol) and to see him flourish like this is crazy... It's hard not to respect him for sure. He's done his fair share of shit I don't like, but like you said the kid is an unreal talent. I also really dig that Marc runs a #69 on the back of his lid still.

Good luck with the bike @ArabianOak I'd love to find a deal like that around here.

Looks damn good. Now when it warms up trade it for a Panigale V4R and let us hear a comparison
