I’m sure the ZL1 would have been even faster eh?

Did I say that ever? I'll save you some time, no. I have never said the 1le will beat the CFTP car. I did however say it's not going to be a rape train.

At road Atlanta, 158mph is very fast on the starting straight. If you can come onto the straight off the final cork at about 115-120 mph, you have a chance to crest 150 in a 750hp+ machine before a seriously tight right hand corner iirc down to about 80mph at the apex and 95mph exit speed. Good luck, hope you have huge balls and a gt2rs to give an idea. I highly doubt VGJ was on the front straight doing 158.

158 is slow for the back straight. It’s not very hard to hit 155-160 with a stock c6z on that back section.

Gt350r on road Atlanta and he does 145 cautiously on the back straight, 130+ on the front straight. (It’s not a video game. It’s real life)

In my head/gut, I would presume the gt500 cftp would hit 165-170 on the back straight on an excellent lap, getting all of it. On the front straight, I could see it getting straight at 120-125mph on a killer lap with a run out to 140-145 on the front straight with late braking the first turn.

Between braking advantages, stability, 760hp, dct, and most importantly, the sticky rubber, you should be able to really drive the tires entering the straight at about 65-70mph and staying deep to late brake and enter the left hand kink/sweeping right hand run after to the top of the hill.

Hitting 158 on the back straight is a very conservative lap imo.

I imagine a perfectly driven gt350r could hit 151-153 for context.

The video shows 158 on the back straight but who knows what kind of monster energy kyle style drift exit VGJ did entering the straight. Im sure the car would do 165 back there. Why Ford is using VGJ is beyond me. Use a real driver that wont skew specs like that.

That, and even a McLaren Sena would struggle to hit 158mph on the front straight of road Atlanta haha

I want to see a base car on drag radials. I think drag radials and e85 tune could put one in the 9’s in negative da with great prep and a tail wind. Cecil you there? Where you atco?

Any other mods you want to add to the base car while you are at it? Seems on par with Red Eye.

Cute.

Yer dodges went 10.9@129 in Vegas with bolt ons and drag radials a few days back.

This thing yer shitting on just went 10.89 with 1.7 60fts at 130 as well as 10.9 at 132 in Vegas over the weekend bud.

Stock. On Michelin mp4’s bud.

Yer dodges are nice cars but this car is faster.

After attending the event, I was amazed at how the GT500 did everything so well. The ride was firm but not bruising. It did pass after pass on the drag strip with most of the guys that looked reporting 130mph by the traps, (ours were not timed). It simply was beyond belief on the road course. I was amazed at how wel it hooked up out of turns. The DCT was incredible. I drove with it manually and in auto. It felt as quick shifting as any PDK I have driven. Like the PDK s, it would be hard to shift better than it does on the track. It sounds incredible both inside and out. This is an amazing car! :)
