So I just convert my cobra to e85 this summer.

Do I need to switch back to 93 to store it for 5 months? In central IL

I have a insulated partially heated garage shouldn't get below 30...

Do I add a fuel stabilizer?

Any suggestions appreciated

I'm in northern IL. I drain the tank and fill up full on 93. Put a couple miles on it to get the 93 flowing through everything. Then I park it all winter.

I always switch mine back to 91 before winter storage. I do run Lucas ethanol treatment when I'm running the corn.

I live in Minnesota. These winters can be harsh. And humidity changes quite often.

Why change back to 93? Humidity causes water to get in ethanol?

Massive fluctuations in temps. Come spring my wheels sweat of condensation, my car cover gets damp and so on. Switching fuel back to 91 isn't hard. Plus I like to run a tank or so of 91 once a year.

Maybe it's more for a piece of mind.

I fill my tank and forget about it until the spring. Never had an in the last 3 years I’ve been running e85.

I’m in Michigan and the car is stored in an Un-heated garage.
