Hello all, New here from the LS world. Always loved the 03-04 cobra. I'm getting ready or might be buying my first terminator. It's a 03 10th anniversary torch red with 24k miles. mods are pulley and exhaust. Are 10th anniversary worth buying and how much would you pay? Are terminators slighty going up in value

Mid to high 20's. Maybe extremely low 30's if its an excellent example. To some people the 10th anniversary interior is tacky but I love it. I would say they are worth buying. They have the later style heads and they most like will go up in value for the lower mileage, nicer examples. There are only 2 "special edition" terminators. The 10th anniversary cars and the MC cars.

It might take a bit for the prices to rise but they are most likely to over time. The cars have their issues (interior, wheel hop, third brake light, alternators, etc. But all of that can be solved) but for being a 16 year old car, they are remarkably modern looking and the motors are over engineered and can hold a crap ton of power. Along with that, the cars have kept their value fairly well throughout the years.

I feel like most people on here would agree with me when saying that they were the meanest looking mustangs ever built.

Btw, Coupe or Vert? And im located in NC. What part of NC are you in?

Generally, the 10th anniversary cobras today are not bringing much more money than the standard 03-04 cobras. But location plays a role in prices.

Welcome, and get some pictures when you buy one.

Terminators are appreciating (both 03 and 04). I too like the interior, its really a 2003 thing, call it "period correct". I think the 10th cars (only red black and silver), take a bit of back seat value wise to the most popular colors, like SB, CO, and MC. The current values offered above are where these cars are.

I don't see them going for more money now, but maybe some day. If you like the anniversary package and color. Based on mileage and the fact it has a pulley and tune I would say 25 if it's a clean coupe and less if it's a convertible

Appreciate the feedback! Think I might have to take a 4hr roadtrip to make the purchase from the private seller. I wanted a 5th Gen 1le Camaro but a terminator has always been on my mind but was always nervous of making that leap.

I bought a 9200 mile silver 10th vert in late July. I paid just shy of 29000 for it. full exhaust and pully were the only mods. I thought this was a very good price for the car. I would've rather had a coupe but having a vert in Florida is a nice option to have. I love the seats with red inserts, really good looking in my opinion/

Unless you really want a cobra 26kish would be my top... much more and you’d be better stepping up to an older gt500 or a higher mileage gt350z

I offered 28.5k for a 10th anniversary with under 15k miles and couldn't make a deal. I don't know if my offer was low or if the seller just wasn't ready to let it go. I'd say if you can pay mid to high 20s for yours, that's a fair deal. You should buy the red one if the car checks out. Red on red is the best color combo for the 10th anniversary in my opinion. Good luck!

I paid 22k for my 10th anniversary convertible. 26k miles. Garage kept and super clean. Seller included a ton of records which in my eyes tells a better story and increases value. I flew up to Denver from LA AND drove back. The car is 9.5 out of 10. this cobra in California would be over 27k.

I have now purchased 3 cobras all out of state and have saved tons of cash. In my opinion value is dependent on location. Convertible should bring higher value in states with tons of sunshine.

I do feel in another 10 years or so the value of coupes and convertibles will flip flop. I’m only 39 and the feeling of cruising with the top down is pretty darn nice. Think of classic musclecars and the premiums convertibles bring.

good luck with the search.

Even in the old muscle cars coupes are more desirable now. At least for the next generation of enthusiasts. I'm 38 and novice car collector and have no desire to buy a muscle car in a convertible .I know many feel the same.

Haha nice I'm Actually Brown Summit. Just simple hwy 29 and hwy 150 area
Nice. We're arranging a NC Terminator meet so if you buy the car or want to roll down with me, let me know and we could cruise or ride down together or something. There's a handful of Terminators in our area and a murdered out 2014 gt500. My buddy has a '01 cobra but that's really about it. And there is a guy who owns a '06 ford GT too.

I think I inquired about this car at a dealer in Jacksonville.
That's a nice ride.
I love the silver 10th anniversary vert and they only made 237 of them.
There's a red 10th anniversary vert with about 10k one owner( i think) at a dealer in Texas ....
I was looking for a year- finally bought a SB vert about 2 months ago.
Not really a Mustang fan per se, but I'm a Terminator fan.
Like you guys, I'll bet you get looks everywhere you go- it's a special car.

I've seen a bunch of guys like this. Supra and Zo6 owners aren't mustang guys but for some reason, almost everyone loves the terminator. I've heard it called the "American Supra" in terms of the engine being able to just compound on easily built power.
