I just found 2 strays about a month ago myself. The grey one was among a litter living outside of my restaurant and she was the runt and had scratches all over here where her brothers and sisters were hitting her. I took her home and she would never leave my side whenever I go work on my car outside. I named her Shelby like everyone said lmao.

The black one I haven’t named yet, I just call her Blackie for now lol. My buddy found her a couple weeks after the grey one, he’s the manager at Quaker Steak and Lube and we went for a couple drinks and heard her meowing in the bushes. She was less than a pound when I found her and was abandoned by her mother. She has a suckling problem bc she was taken away too early and she sucks on my blanket on my bed and it drives me freaking insane. Anyone have a cat that would suck on stuff and did you ever get them to stop??

Awesome replies guys.

So far, the OG names are kind of sticking.

I actually started calling Joanna, Jo-Jo and Kiddo - Kiddo and Little buddy or buddy.

They are a handful, but are super sweet.

Last night, Kiddo slept on my chest more toward my neck and curled up. God is he cute.

I was honestly thinking Simba and Nala because they act like those two a lot and it is kind of cute.

I used to like cats.

Then my wife adopted two pieces of shit from the shelter shortly after we were married. They were worthless pieces of garbage that she named Hoops and YoYo. Those names stuck for a week before they became Orange Cat and Deaf Cat.

Orange Cat, the long haired ****, disappeared when we left town and moved into the country and she let him become and inside and outside cat. (This woman has a Masters in Nursing but didnt think this would end poorly for the cat??)

Deaf Cat, has been puking daily in my house for about 9 years now. It’s deaf, retarded, and serves no purpose. It pukes in my pool table, and I imagine has been per by a member of my family once in the last 3 weeks because it hides everywhere.

Mr Lovey, the adopted male cat that my wife thought would make a good inside outside cat is no longer with us. After eating my spaghetti while I was cleaning a shart, and being renamed Mr ****Face (even my wife and 6 year old called him Mr FF), he started shittinf EVERYWHERE in my basement while I was out of town after work. After the second incident, he took a ride down the road and got dropped off at someones barn.

All was good until my brothers fiance (in her infinite wisdom) asked my wife if the cat she saw under the chair (deaf cat) was the cat i took for a ride. Needless to say, that put a dent in the marriage for awhile.

Anyways. We have 20+ cats in the barn, and that’s after losing probably 10-12 to raccoon slaughter/dismemberment over the summer.

Sorry to thread-jack.

Name them whatever the **** you want. They won’t know the difference. They’re cats.

Think about famous duos. Cleo and Antony. Also, congratulations on new kitties. I have 5 myself. I named my three brothers after the Rat Pack. I call them the Cat Pack - Sam, Dean and Frank.

Our cat does the same thing to soft blankets, but as she has gotten older it's slowed significantly. Like maybe once every 2 months.

It seems to make them more hungry than any creature known to man after they do that for a solid 30 minutes.

Love some of the names here.

I understand cats are not for everyone. These two are sweethearts. Cuddle with us, gives kisses, respond when we call them and are very self reliable.

Some cats are total a-holes and we avoid those cats.

Love puppies too, but, owning a dog is much hard, especially considering the hours my wife and I work and the lack of help we have from anyone else to check on the dog after 10+ hours of being alone almost every day. wouldn't be fair.

Nope. Have a male cat that is 6 years old and still slobbers over blankets while kneading on it.

Unrelated to your cat naming I suggest buying a catgenie 120 and cartridge genie if you want to enjoy cat ownership.
