I guess that's not too bad. I genuinely expected it to trap 130 even in that DA but who knows if they are hot or what.

I looked at the time of the leak, if it was posted about the same time as the runs, the DA is between 3401 and 3554.

If the run was at 9am but wasn't posted for 5 hours the DA was 2558.

According to drag times.

Hahahahahahahha! I see that! Thanks for the soon to be wicked reading material that will provide. Dont forget he is "not to be messed with" over there. Looool.

I personally think those times are good given the scenario and look forward to what proper prep and DA provides.

Latest updates is 11.0 @ 128mph and Ford stated in a conference it does 3.3 secs 0-60. Again not sure who is actually driving these cars to get that 1/4 time but I can surely see mid to upper 10s in better conditions and better driver. Time will tell when Ford makes the official claim

According to drag times.

If DA was 3500 +/-, an estimate for 11.3@127mph would be high 10's @ 130ish at sea level and about the same at 2500 DA, give or take.

I still think the car with practice launching will be in the 10.7 - 10.8 range @ 130+/- which will be a direct competition in the 1/4 mile for the Hellcat Redeye, C7 Z06, and best the standard Hellcat and ZL1 (and most likely C8 gran sport). Assuming 1/4 mile is your thing.

If you like bench racing, check this out which is a rough estimation:
Calculate Sea Level ET from Density Altitude (DA) - Wallace Racing

I still say this car is meant to be much more well rounded than just a 1/4 mile monster, which to me high 10's off the showroom floor is damn impressive. The outgoing GT500 was "supposed" to be well rounded running the 1/4 in est. 11.5's @125 +/- and also be competent on the road course. This GT500 in my opinion essentially improves and enhances what the 13/14 GT500 is.

I believe that. I can could see 10.7's with better weather/driving, or maybe even better hero runs at Atco or MRI in the crisp fall air.

If that is the case, I would expect a half second and several mph improvement in better air. The car should be capable of 10.8's or slightly better at 130-132mph which is excellent for a vehicle designed to be a jack of many trades.
And exactly what we’ve heard/guessed/leaked/etc.
Let’s see it with some octane, tune, drag radials in your neck of the woods (killer tracks and DA)!

MIR is an awesome track especially this time of year for making hero runs. Never cared for Cecil County but a lot of people pull off great times due to being at or slightly lower than sea level.
Atco is Atco, fast runs happen there for sure.
