Hey All,

I have the Borla Touring axel backs and I find them too quiet.

Was thinking of moving to the S-type/Stinger axle backs.

Looking for peoples opinion on whether the Stingers are more aggressive?

My exhaust is stock, except for high flow CATS.

The S Type should be a little louder for you, it just depends on how loud is loud to you as everyone is a little different in that aspect. Hit me up over at Lethalperformance.com or on here and I can get you a great deal on a set.

S type sounded perfect with stock cats, when I removed my cats they sounded ridiculous and way too loud and raspy, then tourings were perfect without cats.

^^^This. I have them installed on my car. Borla designed them to sound great with otherwise stock exhaust. They produce a nice low V8 rumble at low RPM while cruising, but sound loud and powerful at WOT. There is moderate drone when under 2000 RPM in 6th gear. I rode in a 2008 with off-road X pipe and S type mufflers and it was NASCAR loud, raspy and popped a lot on decel… not my cup of tea.

Anyone with an opinion on the Roush Extreme Axle Backs in comparison to the Borla S-Types? Are they similarly loud....or are the Roush's another level above? They seem to be priced similarly, but the Borla's look to be of a higher quality stainless steel, which leads me to believe they might last longer.
