Great car! Were there any improvements with the 2020 model year? A friend of mine has a 2020 GT350 on order and I have a 2020 GT500 on order. They are scheduled to get built on Oct 28th and 30th. It will be interesting to compare/contrast the 2 cars.

Goose,
You guys can plan on a later delivery date. I'd say 10/2020 is your best date.

I ordered my car in Jan., 2019 and I got it it in July (seven months). My car was not on the same line with the new 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500.

I heard the 2020 GT500 will share the same block as the GT350? It seems the GT500 will have +200 HP? Great car.

I called Ford Performance earlier today and got the news that my build date has slid once again to Nov 8th.

Goose,
I hope you get it in two or three weeks.

I know a guy that just got his 2019 Shelby GT350. The production line can change models very quickly.

It's the best Mustang ever made.

They still have C7 orders to fill too, then they still have to re-tool for C8.

The local dealers have plenty of C7's on the lot. I suspect that a Corvette guy could squeeze a great deal on the front engine car.

I just saw a test on the new mid-engine C8 in the December 2019 MotorTrend magazine. This $60K car was $90K as tested (it tested well). Who really thinks that someone can buy a Corvette for $60K?

The mag's Driver's Car of the Year had the GT350 finishing a close third to the 2020 Porsche 911 S (a $143K car) and the 2019 McLaren Seena (a $965K car).

I think the older GT350 and the new GT500 as part of the Ford SVT team.

I did look good in this one, fit perfect. The base cars are 59K. Hell of car for that...

TOUGH choice on which one to drive.... The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will hit 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and clear the quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds, according to the manufacturer's claims.

Do you think they will make one for $59K?

Like I said, the one that was tested was $90K. I figure that is the real world price with some performance items. I wouldn't buy one the first year due to being the 1st year of a new platform along with GM's current labor problems.

I'd sure like to see the numbers on a road course like VIR. The GT500 has more power but more weight on the front.

I'm sure a car magazine will able to test the two cars against each other. I'm sure they'll add in the C8 Corvette and the awesome McLaren Senna.

How much faster is it compared to a 2019 GT350 with the same Cup2 tires?
We will have to wait for official lap times for accurate comparisons. I have never driven or ridden in a 350, let alone on the track with one, but the 2020 500 is totally freak’n nuts! There were some GT350 owners in my group including some who actively race theirs on road courses. One guy told me that the 2020 500 is like his 350 on major steroids. He said it is on a completely different level.

I think the current Mustang Shelby factory group was part of the older Cobra car group.

They could have called them a 2019 Ford Mustang Cobra but choose to call them a 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.

I have owned a 2019 Shelby GT350 for 6 months. It is an awesome car.

Yet, it is clear that the new 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 is a super car for a bargain price.

I mentioned this as I got moved up for the new Shelby GT500 list (race red no stripes). It was two years, and then a year away, and now maybe this year (a 2020). I'll take it.

I heard many people think that Bernie and his new communist government will restrict our American Rights going forward. What happened?
