Frustrated because I took three years of German in high school instead of Spanish? Nah, I'm more frustrated that apparently the GT500 media embargo here in the US is set to expire after it does in neighboring countries that will also be selling the car.

WTF Ford, seriously? Who the **** has been running the "marketing" end of this rollout?

It's been so long since I've spoke Spanish it's hard to get all of it but I feel I got the gist of what he was saying.

At this point there wasn't much mentioned that you don't know. It's fast, it's not designed to be a drag car, the transmission is quick, etc.

I honestly had zero interest in what that nitwit had to say. I'm betting we'll be hit with a flurry of the same fluff stateside once the embargo is lifted. I'm talking about getting real detail, like dimensional changes to the knuckles (High trail), actual SAE power test results, calibration strategies (for limp, etc), track times with Pobst, etc. I've already prepared myself for the LCD reviews from "Mamba" and "the most annoying kid ever on YouTube."

As your friend I would highly advise you to stay away from that smug, little moron's youtube.

For your heart health.

The difference between stangmode and most you tubers is that he will set the record straight if he misspeaks on something, and he will openly admit what he is novice, or inexperienced at doing or in knowing.

His style and vernacular might put you into an aneurism from the sound of it, but he’s not doing anything obnoxious. (My $.02)

Different strokes.

I prefer other content, but I do watch his as it’s a laid back easy going channel. It’s very similar to how many local guys here were regarding running their cars so it reminds me of years past at the track.

I actually like Doug Demuro and regular car reviews for their stylistic touches to reviewing mundane and normal shit.

Most of the things I catch on YouTube are political like crowder, prager, liberty or whitehouse, with valuetainment, various peoples channels, etc. and cat videos.

I really like Doug's reviews. It's nice to get a different perspective.

I've gone out my way to search for cars he has reviewed just to get a better idea of stuff I will likely miss if I have my hands on one.

From some earlier "back and forth" in this thread regarding the stillborn fender vents on the GT500...

Wow. Did not know that.

Ford is turning into a disgusting social justice loud mouth.

Pretty gross TBH.

Those guys look like stereotypical bmw drivers

Ahh, they were just having a bit of fun. I think they did a pretty good job on both cars. They are a rather eclectic bunch and meshed together well and moved this one forward. My only beef is the white (light gray, whatever) Recaro seat accents they decided upon....ugh.

I don't think you'd like to hear the reason. I cannot say and hope we learn more direct from Ford (which I kind of doubt). I do believe the aero testing to have been done and I understand they indeed provided a functional benefit.

Odds are it was cost.

As for the photo of the designers...remember folks, these people are into DESIGN so it would be impossible for them NOT to "look cool" in a photo intended for public viewing. :)
