Texas dad loses battle to save son from gender transition

What in the ever-loving hell is going on in this country? How is this not child abuse? State-sponsored child abuse and in Texas of all places.

I feel so bad for this father. His ex-wife has gone completely mad.

The Judge and members of the jury who voted in favor of this should be shot for this egregious ruling that violates the civil rights of a young boy because the mother has brainwashed him.

I dont understand how these people can believe that any of this is ok. 11 out of 12 jurors agreed with the ex-wife? Sick.

Not Texas too!!! I just heard the dim governor of this fine state is looking to sign some emergency order so that the state's Medicaid system can be used for gender reassignment surgery.

What the hell is this world coming to that we all have to be forced into the delusions of a mentally ill minority population...

Texas father blocked from stopping gender transition of son James, 7, to girl called Luna

I am speechless, this is child abuse:



"Anne Georgulas, the mother of the two boys, has advocated for James to transition into Luna and has strongly backed the idea of chemically castrating her son and beginning hormone replacement therapy. The ruling on Wednesday will prevent Jeffrey from having sole custody of his children and paves the way for Georgulas to proceed with the procedure.


The court has ruled that Georgulas will maintain sole custody of her two children and go forward with plans to give James life-altering medical procedures. Her original court filing had sought to limit her ex-husband's visits with their children and require that he now refer to James as Luna. She further asked that Jeffrey not be exposed to any people who would not confirm his female identity.


Expert witnesses expressed doubt that James was fully convinced that he was inherently female in testimony last week. "There is still some fluidity in his thinking," said Dr. Benjamin Albritton in sworn testimony. "Neither child appears to be depressed, anxious or aggressive ... He [James] gave no indications of other significant psychological difficulties."

This lady takes her job of screwing over her ex-husband really seriously. I'm guessing it takes a lot of time to prepare your 7 year old with false eyelashes and makeup to face time with his dad. I always heard they do everything bigger in Texas.

Still, it seems odd that only angry ex-wives would make up the jury. How else would they come to that result in court? Maybe the twins' mom convinced them that from a very young age she had identified as a mother of one son and one daughter.

7 years old! How in the hell can a 7 year old make a mature decision to convert from male to female. Oh, wait, he/she doesn't have to. Mom can make the decision (influence the life-changing decision) for him/her. Society continues to unravel.

I just posted your pretty much exact comment in the other thread. 7 years old is too young for a decision like this. There should be a mandatory age of 18 IMO for gender transition IMO, when the individual should be able to make their own decision and truly accept any and all physical and psychological consequences. I'm waiting to hear about legal age adult transgenders who did a gender transition at a very young age like this on the advise of a parent and then are later messed up psychologically and sue the parent(s) for pressuring them to do it. You know it's going to happen.

I couldn't help but notice that the mother also petioned the court that her son/daughter not be exposed to any people who would not confirm his female identity. How is that not brainwashing?!!!

they were talking about this on the radio and while the new source they had was slim on details apparently people that did gender re-assignment surgery going back to their original gender is becoming more common.

That's disgusting. I work with kids and have a son.... Nothing in my 24 years of working with them has told me that a 7 year old is capable of making life decisions, especially one of this magnitude.
