I'm new to the E85 life and have only gotten fuel in my car and jug 4 times. I test it every time of course. Anyway this last time the fuel was yellow/orange, not cloudy or bright orange but has a very noticeable tint to it and it doesn't smell like E85 it just smells like fuel I guess. It tested E85 on the money so I pumped it and filled my jug. I have driven it 30 miles on the fuel and had it wide open throttle and everything is fine but that orange color is eating at me inside. Is this a normal thing? The usual places I go to have clear or just barely yellow tint to them. I'm worried it is bad fuel and I might need to drain it. It has only been 2 days and the car has been parked since the first 30 miles on that fuel.

If it doesn't smell right and look clear then I would recommend not running it. I ran into this same problem earlier this year and it's just not worth risking damage to your motor.
What station did you buy the e85 from?

Drive it around easy if you don't feel good about it. If it is like my car it won't take long to go through a tank.

If it isn't clear I won't use it, no matter the smell or how it tests. I would just drive it easy or limit it to part throttle boost for this tank.
