I believe Wonder Racing makes billet chain guides!
Shelby Mike is another! Unless he IS Wonder Racing!

Edit: I believe they are separate companies.
Wonder Racing does have them!

I will also be adding the new MegaSquirt 3 PNP StandAlone ECU that just released for our cars. I love being able to keep and run the OEM SVT Dashboard and re-use the factory harness/sensors. Plug in and Go? We'll see. Im sure it'll be one of the best upgrades

Are you going to tune it yourself with that standalone? I need to look into this further.

Debating upgrading the chain guides. I found a hairline crack on the primary chain tensioner guide for the driver side chain. The crack is less than 2 inches long, doesn't LOOK like a big deal. But I will at least be replacing it with a new OEM Chain guide. I can't take any chances with how hard I am going to be pushing this motor. Does anyone besides MMR make chain guides for the 4.6?

Check out Shelby Mike Racing. They sell them in a full set and pairs. I saw a coyote build pic off of MPR's Facebook using their guides.

This build is NOT DEAD! I have been quietly working on finishing the motor bit by bit. Just have to finish degreeing the cams this weekend then the covers go back on! Cleaned/Rebuilt Oil Pump, reinstalled Billet gears

Apparently the comp gears are hard to find. I got lucky and lethal had a set available for my build. So I think that gives your cams a 116 lsa. That's what mine are degreed at.

Those are the old style gears and are very problem prone. Make sure to red loctite all the little bolts that hold the degree setting in place. I get worried any time I see someone running these gears, they have destroyed many engines, including mine way back in the day.

Is red loctite enough? Did you have red loctite on the set screws on our engine? I used LOCTITE 609 Retaining Compound that came with the kit. If red loctite isn't enough with this old style gears I might need to come up with something else.
