Any of you guys that ordered your K member around this past thanksgiving timeframe have any fitment issues? Specifically with the A-arms fitting without any modifications?

I had to use a hammer to spread the ears wider of the k member to get the arms to fit. I also had to drill out the holes for the upper spring perches to the next size bigger. The upper spring perches were also mislabeled so I had to pull it back apart apart to correct. I also had to modify my stock oil pan to prevent contact at backside of the k member where the front side of the sump area was hitting. I do have aftermarket motor mounts, but not thinking that would make a difference.

This is my 96 saleen with a QA1 kit. That requires the hotside to travel above the arms and around the k. Not sure what your setup entails. I’m sure it may be a tight fit if I were to try to run this around the steeda unit. HP performance twin kit no longer made with forward facing LT’s

What turbo kit did you buy? I can try to take some measurements. Will your turbo be mounted in front of the radiator?

It's a custom kit I bought from a member here on SVTP. The turbo mounts down low, but I believe it's still by the radiator.

I have an actual Steeda car, 2000 GT #0048 and I need to go through the 18+ year old front suspension that came with it from the factory. Love this piece and really want to go with it but... $1k for it plus the perches to keep the factory springs? I dunno... Thinking I might just leave the stock K or get the UPR piece with Spring perches for about $300 with a 10% military discount...

When do they usually go on sale these days? My plan is to run whatever K I get with the BMR A arms since the bushing and balljoints in the stock stamped arms need to be replaced anyway.

No personal experience, but from what I've seen the UPR is geared more towards the drag racing crowd. The Steeda and MM pieces would be better suited for corner carving. Which I believe is what you prefer.

I've talked to multiple ppl who have the UPR that say its great in corners. I dunno I'll see what I can wind up affording but I need hubs and FTBR tie rods for the IRS now... have half a mind to just stick with the stock K for now tbth. And then do an aftermarket K whenever I wind up doing longtubes.

I ended up going with the new AJE K. They changed the design on it, from what I've heard.
My shop recommended it, so I went with it. He was worried the Steeda and/or MM would not have enough room for the turbo piping. (I bought a used custom kit) it allows for the OEM arms as well.

I was having issues with my spring perches and steeda sent me a graphic. Here is the proper way to install them for future reference

I was looking at this for my 1997 Cobra. Sad that I missed the boat and it was discontinued. would love to grab on, maybe there will be a movement on here for steeda to do a group buy limited production. I'm not holding out hope but it nice to dream

I emailed TJ at Steeda to ask him if they would consider doing another run of the recently discontinued S95 Steeda K-member. He said they could restart production of these if we can get 10 people that want one. Who is interested in picking one of these up?
I'm very interested in the steeda 555-5078, if you have one I'm very interested in it> please let me know thanks dustin, I have been looking for one for some time know.

Hello All:

To help answer a few of the questions ...

The price of the K-Member will be $899.95.
We would need 10 members confirmed before we could restart production to bring this unit back to market.
The unit can be used as a jacking point.

Let me know if I can help assist with anything further.

Best Regards,

TJ
I'm very interested in the steeda 555-5078 if you can get me 1, thanks dustin
