Nav is definitely not a deal breaker. I don’t even use the stereo in my car. They make some cool iPad/tablet mounts in place of the stereo that looks even better than the stock Nav.
It still makes me wonder who orders a Track pack option without track seats (Recaros)!?
Stripes are the easiest to add.
I’d recommend 1) Grabber Blue 2) Recaros 3) Glass roof 4) Nav as your search criteria.
Hell, even with quality wraps these days, you can find the best car available and have it wrapped in Grabber. Color you want and paint protection.
Either way, have the patience and you’ll find it.
Especially with winter coming and the new 500 debut, you’ll find some more options soon.
Good luck the chase is fun.
Want to see me the MC Cobra? (Seriously)

Gotta agree with bimini here, the nav should be low on your list of priorities. It’s very outdated, and I can’t even remember the last time I used it. Hell, I can’t even remember the last time I turned on the stereo. Google Maps is 10x better.

Oh man, those seats are nice.

This is what I'm ready to pull the trigger on: Used 2013 Ford Mustang For Sale | Yuma AZ VIN: 1ZVBP8JZ2D5232640

I already negotiated the price down $1000 and got approved for financing. I've got the sales contract in front of me but I'm hesitant to sign.

Here are the reasons:
1. I can live without the roof but I would like the Recaros.
2. I would like a 2014 but seeing that there are only 48 freakin' blue w/white stripe coupes and Recaros, so those chances are slim. There are only 13 regular seats with white in 2014 also so it's going to definitely be harder to get a blue 2014.

2013 seems to be the best bet since there are 283 coupes in 13 versus on 166 in 14. I was thinking of just holding out and waiting. Maybe those 166 owner will get 2020 GT500 fever and dump their cars.

That is a very nice 13. I have the 14 you are looking for but with the base seats, which I purposely ordered this way. That car does have the Track Package along with the Performance Pack. You can't tell if it has the subwoofer in the trunk. Personally, I enjoy the Nav radio. It gives me something to watch and I do use Sirius. Most will complain about me using it but meh, I don't car. Works for me. I do have the glass roof and consider it a "must have". More so than Recaros. They can be added, but not the roof. I enjoy my base seats. I have had Recaros previously and I simply wanted something more comfortable. One note on 13 base seats, the heat was an option. In 14 base seats had heat standard. Both years include a power base on the driver's side.

You have the car I want. I can live without the Recaros for the heated seats.

The more I think about it, the more I lean towards getting the blue 13. It has low miles, the prior owner was a collector who got 2020 Shelby Fever and traded in the 13 for the 20. It's also in AZ so I don't have to worry about rust. I'm not in it to collect cars, but I do like to get the lowest mile and lowest owner possible. It makes the car feel newer to me and I have less to worry about as far as poor quality mods, poor builds or something that was beaten on.

The other thing is that I always like the last year of a car. I've always felt that the car company works out the bugs and that's why I wanted a 14. I also don't think the cars will depreciate that much. The people that want the 2020 will get it, the same way that Terminator owners got the new Shelby when it came out but that didn't stop the rise in value for the Terminator. As much as the new car is nice, there will be people, like me, that will want the last manual transmission GT500.

EDIT: Wow, your car is 1 of 31 with the roof, and 1 of 13 with leather and white stripes.

This 2013 is 1 of 26 with leather and white stripes

So, did you decide on the 2013 in Az today?

I think I may have the car you want, 1 owner and just turned 5000 miles ;)

Hey Bud...good luck with your search. I agree with some of the guys the Nav is not something you'd miss + if that AZ car has all those option you're looking for ( it looks awesome!) you might not miss the Recaros and you can make that a future modification.

You know, I was ready to pull the trigger. I have the check from the bank, and UPS overnight mailer and the paperwork. Now I see Kel's post and I'm waffling.

Here's the source of my indecisiveness. Back in 2015, I wanted a Mystichrome coupe and couldn't wait so I just bought a convertible. Less than a year later, right here in the marketplace, someone was selling a Mystichrome coupe for the same price I bought the vert. Since I already had the car, I couldn't buy his. About a year later, I sold the convertible for a loss. If I waited, I would have gotten the car I want. Now I have a coupe but I got it with 14,500 miles and more wear versus the 3500 mile coupe that was for sale earlier.

My fear now is I buy this 2013 and someone like Kel or TomShep puts their car up for sale in a year or so. Then I'd have missed out on another opportunity to get what I want.

Holy crap!!! Look at this: 2013 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 for sale 1520 GBE - BenzaMotors

You know what, I need to follow @Norton 's advice and be patient and relax. That blue with black is hot....and it has Recaros. Too bad the price is about $10K too high.

Henry

Henry, been watching that GT500 for sale almost 2 years now at Benza and the price never moves. It is around 10K too high. That exact car with the Nav and white stripes just sold last month here in New Jersey with 1300 miles and all original one owner. I spoke to him and wanted to drive down and see it but it was gone in 3 days. I believe he got 52K for that beauty but I did not talk again with him so I don't know for sure.

I am being patient too like @Norton has said and looking to buy another 13/14 GT500 next year. I missed out on a 300 mile 2013 original one owner loaded beauty in May on Ebay that sold for 47K but I was not ready to buy. Be patient. Don't make an expensive mistake.

This is a good point. I wait too long and I end up not getting anything.
Henry - To recap, I've lost track.

What exactly do you want?

Color/Stripe Combination
Options? Must haves
Mileage?
Stock or Some Mods ok?

I just want to know so if I see something will post here about it for you.

I'm looking for grabber blue, preferably a 2014 with white stripes and PP/TP, Recaros, glass roof, nav and Shaker. I know that'll be hard to find so I'm realistic in my wishes. For instance, the car in AZ is a 13 without the roof and Recaros and I'm seriously considering that since it's a good price, 1 owner, stock and low miles. The blue and black would be good, even though it doesn't have nav or the roof but the guy is about $10K too high in price. If he brought it closer to the one in AZ, I would buy it. I'm looking at the total combination.

I don't mind miles or mods (unless it's 100K miles or something crazy) but I need the car to be able to pass emissions so I'd need cats. For instance, I bought my Mystichrome with an off road exhaust but the prior owner had the cats so I was able to pass emissions. TomShep, Kel and your car is something I'd be looking for since they all are blue with the roof and other things. I know the roof is very rare so that would carry tons of weight.

You're right. I just got off the phone with a dealership in PA that sold a DIB w/black for $47K and 1600 miles. 1 owner, TP/PP, recaros, nav, stereo, etc. They're out there, I just need to be patient.

Of all the options you are looking for the glass roof is going to be the toughest to find. PP was pretty common. Honestly, I wouldn't focus on TP. You really don't need it unless you plan on HEAVILY tracking the car. Otherwise, it is more stuff to leak and you to maintain. The Recaros can be added if you can deal with them not being factory original. 13 and 14 are identical mechanically. The door sill plates say "20th Anniversary" on the 13 and the screen is different. Otherwise they are the same. I would take either year. That car in AZ sticked for probably $67K.
