just wanna get this info out there to everyone to inspect there tires because this cant be a coincidence that i ordered 3 tires and only have 1 good tire out of the bunch !!!

What is the date code on the tire? I just had a huge issue with theses over the last few months with vibrations. I ordered a pair and one of them wouldn't balance and had a terrible vibration. I sent them back and got a second pair, the same thing. One of the two out of the second pair was bad and would not balance. Returned those and got a third pair. Once again with the same story. Sent that one back and finally got a pair that would balance. I had never had the issue with these tires previously. I suppose it could of been a bad manufacturing batch because all of mine had similar date codes.

Edit: I never inspected to see it there was a bubble on the inside of the tires, I just know they would not balance out.

Just Google mt tires you 'll see they re junk. Mine vibrated like hell, they were balanced several times by different places and still had issues. They wore flat spots on the tires like nothing I've ever seen before. My buddy had a similar experience.

I have always had great luck with all my previous sets and they have all hooked great up until this ordeal over the past summer.

This is 2007 all over again!

Was a similar thing happening back in 07?

It was 07/08 when the E/T Street Radials first came out (now I think they are E/T Street S/S). All the side walls had defects and had tons rupturing. Sadly I had already bought mine, they had to pull a bunch until it was fixed. If you look at the sidewall of mine you can tell where it is really thin.

I had ordered a set of Mickeys like 2 months ago and one was out of round. Car would violently shake after 60mph. When my buddy balanced the tires that one tire took a shitttttt ton of weights. American muscle had me ship it back and they sent me out a new one and this one balanced a lot better. A friend of mine with a newer 5.0 had the same problem also. Had to send both tires back.

Where are you guys ordering from? I'm on my second set, with no issues. Both sets came from Discount Tire.

Ive got a set of 305/35r18 ss’s and 315/35 r17 radial r’s both wobble like hell like a shifted belt. Purchased june 19’ The ss’s balanced out with minimal vibrations at cruise speeds. I sent the set of r’s back for a nasty vibration, got a new set which are even worse. Almost 10oz of weight required to balance but the vibration shakes the entire car violently over like 70mph . I havent had the time to contact m/t about the replacement set of r’s being worse then the set they replaced. Talk about a complete waste of money, wont be buying a m/t product ever again.

I just went thru 3 sets of ET SS 315/35/17 and now on my 2nd set of Street R's, same size. The company I purchased them from have been exchanging at their expense. No since in running them being the flat spots and wobble is very evident. I called Mickey Thompson and asked if there was a bad Batch and I was told no. I asked that the current set I now have come from a different warehouse because I figured they might not have been stored properly. Different warehouse with same issue with these I received yesterday. Some were wobbly but all had a flat spot running diagonally across the tread. I'm at a point to where I just have to ask for a refund. I've always run ET SS with no issue's until this started happening about 2 months ago.

Man I don't like hearing these horror stories anout MT. I'll be in the market for tires soon and ET SS's were at the top of the list. Toyo doesn't even sell 315/35/17 R888R's in Canada. :(

Went through 4 sets this year never had an issue, ordered from summit.

Only had one defect but that was a slick few years ago. I only buy from summit or jegs though.
