Didn't find anything in the search and doesn't seem any tuners were offering this for the 03/04 Cobra. I know this is probably on of those 50/50 things that people like or think is a joke...but is anyone running a ghost cam?

Curious, is it not possible or just no interest?

I'm so glad our cars aren't capable of it. I'd be embarrassed to own a car where people did a mod as silly as that.
It's funny to listen to the guys that have it. All the issues (bad mpg, bucking at part throttle) and none of the gains of real cams.

I figured this would be the general opinion, was more curious on it and how it worked. I never even knew this was a real thing until watching a video on YouTube today. Was a TT GT350 that had it and guy driving/reviewing it said I’m not a fan of ghost cams but guess it’s okay to have it on a car making over 1k hp and laughed.

The simple reason is that without variable cam timing (TiVCT, VTEC), it is not possible.
Lots of mods I strongly disagree with, but the ghost cam is not on the list.
If you can make the car sound tougher when you want it for some fun, go for it!
I just installed cutouts for a similar reason. Because racecar :)
A cammed Terminator does sound killer!

That car has a Motec stand-alone system and was done by Fathouse Fabrications. It’s set up to do the ghost cam sound at idle but reverts to a full performance tuned cam setting after the throttle is hit. I don’t believe the Coyote Mustang GTs are capable of having both settings on the same tune with the factory ecu (I could be wrong but have never seen it). It’s either Ghost cam tune or performance tune. The Motec is capable of marrying the 2 together on one tune based off TPS or RPM.

Yeah, I'd say it's more like 95/5 to those that think that its dumb as hell, but what do I know. Throw a set of cams in if you want "the sound".

I’m still in on retarding the timing. Remember spinning the distributor back on a SB 350 or 302? It would get loopy as hell or speed up revs.

I have some brand new in box custom bullet racing grinds I may be letting go if you're looking for that cam sound.

Cams springs retainers. Grind for a 2.9 whipple on e85.

Also GT500 cam followers and lifters.

These will give you that sound you're after.
