I'm insanely impressed with the 0-60 but I was a little surprised that it only bested the C7Z51 around the track by .9 with stickier tires and non-runflats.

The brake by wire in this car really, really bothers me. Like deal breaker type bother. Especially since I've read 3 reviews and all of them have mentioned issues with it.

X infinite. That braking system killed all of my needs for this car

if Ford redesigns the mustang as a response to what GM did, I'll be pissed. that's reactive instead of proactive.

what problems have been mentioned and what would steer you away from it? Wounding it just be another evolution of process think electronic steering racks vs power steering

I wonder how long it would take to readapt to that as a driver. I personally don’t see this being an issue on paper but I’d have to drive one for more then a few times to see how it does feel.

thankfully my needs in a car are more street related with maybe a little track time per year so this still is in the running for me.

^^ that.

I think part of the reason they go to brake by wire is to get rid of brake feeling for people that don't want to feel it, more divorced. The problem is, you absolutely need to feel it otherwise you won't know whats going on.

I also disliked the part about the ABS kicking in before threshold and not allowing for modulation at the limit. They will probably be able to improve upon that, but after reading the articles all I could think about was how my buddy's 6th gen SS Camaro could never figure out sticky tires. It would activate ABS well before threshold, this car sounds like it will have the same problem but potentially worse as it's doing it with stock rubber.

I really hope there is a large distaste for these brakes, if people don't complain about it other companies will follow.
