Just a friendly bit of horsepower info if you will. We all here make the “aftermarket” high performance retailers plenty of money. With all due respect, ditch the 90mm TB and spacer. Put the stock TB back on, order a Lund tune or drive north to Murrieta and have the car dyno tuned at Cunningham Motorsports. The drive ability will be much much better, you will get more torque back. That’s not including the tune, which will add more power, Ryan Cunningham knows his shit! What I have said isn’t from what I have read here. I know it first all first hand! Just trying to pass along my waste of money and time. Welcome to the forum club! The majority of the gents here know their shit! More than me! Only trying to make mo powwwaaa!

You wouldn’t happen to have dyno number comparisons or 1/4 mile slips do ya? Preferably the trap speed considering that’s where the power really is? Not doubting you just would like to know the difference. I have a lot of revisions and data logs and I will be 100% honest definitely not hyping my power more than it is, but there’s been guys from Arizona with Cat Delete tunes (loud as sh*t) and came to California and got gapped in 4th gear pulls. My current set up seems pretty decent. And no I’m definitely not satisfied Haha. This is why I’m asking. I like to get as much info as possible before pissing away my life savings. Hahaha

I think I should give y’all my experience since modding. I think in some ways you guys would actually see what’s been happening since I’ve been modding my car. You’d definitely see where I’m at as far as power is concerned. I will try and be as honest as possible. And I think it would be pretty interesting.

First mod (besides a basic axel back) was an h-pipe and a 91 Tune. I ran a C6 Z06 knowing I would get my ass beat and I did. Ha. A Charger 392 Scat Pack wanted to join and from 60 roll 3rd through top of 4th I won by half a car length. Also a 6th Gen Camaro and we “tied AF.” Couldnt have been closer, same with Porsche 911 Carrera. 2012 or older. Lol
Switched to E85, new injectors, and CAI ran with a 2012 GT500 (I have a video but since I’m screaming so loud I’m embarrassed to share the video lmfao). Oh and he’s a neighbor (automatic and convertible). Later I played with a couple of Cat delete Arizona tourists (they obviously have a 91 Tune considering 93 is not in my city and it requires a tune without Cats) and gapped them pretty badly even after giving the hit. After getting the TB I ran into the Porsche 911 turbo and the CTS-V. Probably hard to believe and I completely understand but being almost FBO that’s been my experience.

You be giving hell to those auto gt500s. I bet the 2012 with the DCT would be a better race tho.
I agree! I would love to actually line up and bang through all the gears with one. He took off at like 75 so I was in 4th (Through 5th). It was close so definitely gave me a good butt dyno result result. Lol.

I have never had the chance to run the mythical auto gt500. They are like bigfoot around here. Heard they are badass though!

I haven't done any roll races against one, but I did do a couple dig races against a stock 2nd gen CTS-V. He'd pull about a 1/2 car on me out of the hole, and at 120 I'd have about a 1/2 car on him. They don't seem to pull as well on the top end, but he definitely had more traction out of the hole. I think from a 30-40 roll, I would have pulled quite a bit more, since I spin 1st and 2nd from a dig on the stock summer tires.

If the person you raced legitimately had 700hp, I don't think you would have pulled or hung with him at all. That's just my $.02. It assuredly wasn't stock, but probably closer to 600-ish whp.

Also, I'm a little curious about you saying you saw "tail lights tailgating" you :D

That’s dope. What’s you’re mods?
You’re absolutely right there’s no way he had 700hp that he claimed. I’m not sure why he’d even lie about that.. Honestly he probably bought the car from someone else who told him that. lol. Im thinking in 600s as well.

Oh and I meant head lights tailgating me. Hahahaha. Sorry little dyslexic moment. Hahaha

It's pretty much a full bolt-on car. Still have some suspension stuff to do, some of it's sitting in the garage waiting on me to get off my butt and install it.

2013 GT Track Pack
-Brembo front brakes
-3.73 gears
-Torsen diff
-Recaro seats
-Boss 302 oil cooler
Lund 93-octane tune
PMAS CAI
Barber-ported stock throttle body
Boss 302 Intake Manifold
1 7/8 ARH longtube headers
3" ARH off-road x-pipe
3" MBRP race series cat-back
Exedy chromoly lightweight flywheel
Exedy grooved Mach 500 clutch kit
Exedy HD slave cylinder/throwout bearing
McLeod braided clutch line
Shelby isolated clutch reservior
MGW gen-2 short throw shifter
Blowfish Shifter Bracket
FRPP 1-pc aluminum driveshaft
lightweight slotted and cross-drilled front rotors
slotted and cross-drilled rear rotors
Steeda ultra-lite springs
Boss 302 strut brace
BMR lower control arms
BMR lower control arm relocation brackets

Appearance items:
Cervini GT500 upper grille
Cervini GT500 lower grille
Cervini GT500 front spoiler
Cervini GT500 rear spoiler
Ford GT/CS fog lights

Pretty sure that's it.
The stuff that still needs to be installed:
Strange 10-way adjustable front struts
Strange 10-way adjustable rear shocks
BMR adjustable upper control arm
BMR upper control arm mount
BMR adjustable panhard bar

I've been a best of 11.89 @ 121 on the stock summer tires, in good air. I think the DA was in the low 100's that night, and I was finally able to get it out of the hole and into 2nd without tire spin. On paper, the car has never dyno'd more than 414 whp. ;) It's been on the dyno three times with all of the current mods: 410 whp, 414 whp, 388 whp (this one was ridiculous and read WAY low) ET and MPH put it closer to 450-ish whp.

Damn that’s a ton of mods! Yeah I have the Brembo Package as well. Dude that dyno reads super low! Lmaoo! I haven’t dynoed mine yet but I would say I’m around 410-425whp myself (because our E85 in california is legit, almost always 83%) , but you’re right numbers dont lie, but dynos do. 121 trap your easily around 450 to the wheels. In fact in and some traction you could probably get in the low 11s. I would love to take it to the track! But we dont have 1/4 miles less than 2 hours away. Considering who’ve I raced I’m going to guess I’m low 12s and at 117-119, (by a professional driver) maybe.... lol
