I'm tempted.... I want to see how it feels + I'm on stock brakes. Don't want to push it . I am surprised by the numbers, instant 200hp increase to the wheels. Looking forward to the numbers tomorrow once the belt slip issue is fixed.

What intake are you running? I'm running the JLT cai and I'm seeing about 18PSI. I will say even with my low timing lazy hasn't entered my mind yet. I punch it, it goes. Above 20psi will be crazy.

The brake issue with your Shelby was something else. I ran close to 700hp on my 01 Cobra that has the same brakes and never worried about stopping.

How much boost do you all think the stock engine can take?

25-26. Low 800s on E85.

Of course, there's an enormous amount of variables to consider.....what was the health of the motor before the gen4 got strapped to it, how is the car going to be used, what's the fuel system specifics, and last but not least who's controlling the tuning.

Race car motors don't last as long as weekend garage queens that dabble on occasion in Mexico.

I'm running 24lbs on my unopened long block on e70. A bunch of bolt ons to help handle that power though
The gen 4 is definitely impressive at all levels

Running the whole CRUSHER kit. So the CRUSHER intake.

Man with that Shelby.... The car would shake violently to slow down and that was about 450 to the wheels.

Sounds like those rotors were warped or there was another hardware issue.....that is not normal if the system is mechanically sound and you have a good bleed on the fluid.

Now repeated high speed stops? That's when the big $$$ aftermarket system is going to pay off with consistent non-fade performance.

Updated numbers: New belt + last idler came in.... On E85 = 701rwhp..... Wow! 17lbs of boost.

I pick up the car tomorrow so I'll have pics and Dyno sheet.

Well looky there! Now it's uber impressive for only 17psi! Sounds like it was belt slip.

Damn.....time to SEND IT! I see 800+ no problemo with the little upper! Lol

So what are you running for a clutch, any irs upgrades?

Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using the svtperformance.com mobile app

Clutch is stock. As far as suspension upgrades: H&R springs, stifflers subframe connectors, maximum motor sports CC plates, 10.5 Cobra wheels in the rear and Nitto NT01 all around. Will do more suspension upgrades next year.

I was thinking the same thing. I run the 3.625 pulley whipple provides with a 4lb lower and I'm seeing 24lbs. I can only assume on a factory lower I'd be around 20lbs, not 17.

Stock clutch!? Ya that isn't going to last long at all.....impressive it made the 700 dyno. I assume it still has the 10spline input shaft as well. That's definitely the next project to budget for because you're gonna need a big time upgrade.
