First off I apologize for not having pics or vids of this, though I'm sure it'll show up on YouTube eventually.

I was with my son at the No Fly Zone event at the Gila Bend airport today and a blue with white stripe GT350 was running today. During its second run (that I saw), it caught fire in the middle of the track.

The track got shut down for a while, but I did see it get towed past us spectators. It wasn't burnt to the ground, but I'm pretty sure that thing was totalled. Windshield was all cracked and the hood was bubbled.

Anyhow, someone mentioned that these cars have fuel line issues and that's maybe why it caught fire.

It was blowing white smoke prior to going up though.

15-early 17’s had an oil cooler hose fitting issue, a few early cars caught fire.

There was a recall, maybe this car didn’t get fixed ??

I backed out of a 2017 I ordered, it came in, dealer could not sell it to me till the part was redesigned, car sat in the showroom for 6 months.

Bought a raptor instead, and now have a 2020 GT350 coming in in about two weeks.
