I find it hard to believe that you now have had 3 of those fail. I find it really really hard to believe that 2 replacements have failed.

Yeah, I pretty called them out on it. I have read several cases of the factory pump going out, but the chances of 2 thereafter being bad within such short time is just borderline impossible.

I wonder if they were even replacing it ... probably just billing it out as warranty work to get paid.

I have wondered exactly that. Not sure how I could prove it; each time I picked up the car it had a strong gas odor so do believe they had accessed the pump(s).

Will see in a few days what they come back with...

What I want to know is why was this sent to the Express Lane for diag? Any service advisor with a brain would have looked at natioal history and seen tis as a potential buyback scenario. Unless FCA doesnt care about it going to arbitration...

So I didn't even notice it. I wonder if it was because I dropped the car off without an appointment. All the other times a SRT Tech worked my car, couldn't even get it dropped off if he was too booked.

Either way, I still have doubts on FCA quality, but equally seeing issues with the shop.

Only other thing it could be is a generic Multipoint inspection line that gets added to every ticket, and that an SRT technician was in fact responsible for the diagnosis and repair.

I thought a general inspection too. I guess I will take it out for a weekend drive...hopefully won't get stuck somewhere. I am somewhat afraid of getting into traffic and then losing power to only get hit.

Nah. If that happens, you get a police report. Tow it to the Dodge dealer you dislike the most and then contact your lawyer. You may spend some money initially for the retainer, but with this many documented issues in National history FCA has no leg to stand on.

Well short ~25 mile drive turned out okay mechanically.

I must have terrible luck though as now it seems there is no power going to my mirror. Not seeing a indicator light on the mirror, and I've had my V1 hardwired to the mirror wiring since I bought this car. I had turned it off prior to dropping it off. Powered it back on today but nothing; sanity tested the V1 on my truck so not the radar.

No clue how the dealer could have messed it up. Not a fuse as gauges are on the same block, so will have to troubleshoot.

I think your car is haunted. Give it a Christian burial and move on.
