Make any headway with yours?
Yes sir. I should have it by the end of the week.

I'm working the night shift until Friday so it makes things difficult but I'm hoping to have it home so I can take it out a couple times before the weather turns for the worst.

No sir, Another Sonic blue.

I strongly considered another MC, but I didn't really want to wait and I only knew of a couple that were even for sale. Both higher miles and accident history.

there were 3 low mile SB coupes really close to me and I've already regretted getting rid of the first one I had. I drove out earlier in the week to look at the one I'm picking up. Compression check looked great. Alternator is going out on it, but that's minor. I'm excited to get it home and start putting all these parts on that I have left over from the DSG mistake.

At the dyno yesterday, I was telling the guy that I was so close to buying a 2014 GT500 but someone bought it out while I was in the finance office filling out a credit app!!! He asked if I would have gotten rid of the Mystichrome and I said yeah since I don't have space to store 2 cars and he said he'd never speak to me again if I the Mystichrome. He said that the values are going up. He said just wait 2 more years and cars Mystichromes that sold for 29-30K are going to be selling for 31-32K.
A 2014 GT500 is a nice car, HOWEVER, there were a crap ton of 07-14 GT500s made including many 13/14 versions. They will continue to depreciate for a long time. The Mystichrome Terminators are waaaay more rare and are an appreciating asset. Adding a 2014 to go with your MC would be fun, but replacing it would not be a sound financial move.

I have a 5k MC coup I’m thinking about putting on the market if anybody is shopping. Been in storage awhile and needs some work but I think it’s time to find it a new home

You're kinda wrong there, bud. There wasn't many 13/14 GT500s made, in fact, they had a much lower production than 03/04 Cobras- by about half I believe. And you can't compare rarity by looking at all GT500s made from 07-14 to just the 03/04. If you're going to compare production numbers for all Shelbys from those years then it's only fair you also compare all Cobras from 96-04 too, wouldn't it?
And as far as a better financial move, well, let's look at it like this - the 13/14 Shelbys are 5/6 years old, so they're still not going to be valued and looked at the same as our 03/04 Cobras. I'm sure all color Cobras weren't seen as a "sound financial move" back in 09/10. But the fact that there's less of them made - there's 4 or 5 colors with less production #s than Mystic, the last Shelby Carroll Shelby worked on before his death - his name carries a lot more value than SVT, all point to the 13/14 as being just as much a sound financial move as the 03/04 Cobras.
I know you're a diehard MC guy, but you can't completely look past the 13/14 GT500s as being a great value as well when compared to the Terminators.

Great choice! I personally prefer SB to the Mystichrome. Paint colors are very personal. I just watched Kevin's Sonic Blue life story, so I've got his pristine, gorgeous beast etched into my brain. LOL! Watch it for some inspiration, Wayne. ;) https://svtperformance.com/threads/pullied-to-whippled-the-story-of-my-cobra-2019.1179665/
Thanks cobra bob!! Had a brand new one back in 03!! We had an svt meet at atco not sure if you remember. I was only 19 Back then. Think you where shooting for 10s on a ported Eaton and a 50 shot at the time! Great video

Whats the price on that one going to be?

it’s been sitting in storage for about six years. I think needs a new head gasket. Has all the usual bolt on mods, pulleys, intake, headers, exhaust, springs. Two sets of wheels including the stocks. Have all stock parts with window sticker and SVT documents. I was going to get it running right again and shoot for 40k but would take 30k as she sits

Congrats OP! I did something similar in 2012. Mine was a 10.8k mile coupe at the time and I absolutely love it! (63k on it now lol)

As far as color goes, of course it's subjective and to each his own, but there have been many Terminator color polls on here over the years and as I recall SB always ranked higher than MC in all of them. Personally I don't like purple, and even SB has too much purple in it for my liking. I wish Scarpello had opted to make Bright Atlantic Blue or Azure a color for our cars, I love those blues.
