There is a guy at Sonoma that has been racing a Callaway for 19 years that I can remember. Runs 10.90’s on 8 psi with a set of slicks. He never turns it up, his is an auto though. It’s quiet just like the one in the vid, same red color with holes in the front and goofy taillights too.

I remember being at a car show when I was a kid and a new ZR-1 on the lot was north of $60K. I think it was a $30K option on top of the base Vette.

Back in 1991 when I was 16 years old, my friend’s dad bought a new ZR-1.

One day he handed me the keys and said “see you in a little while” knowing it wasn’t in valet mode.

I’m still talking about it 30 years later. That’s the impression it left on me.

I day dream of having all 4 Zs in the same color. The early C4s are still cheap.

Yes they are, but only so much space, have to get rid of my 08. Been seriously tempted a few times by screaming good deals for sure.
