I know some of you all wanted an update after my dyno thread, I Finally made it to the track yesterday. I haven't had this car at a 1/4 track in about 7-8 years and then it was just boltons & 2.76 upper. Needless to say I'm am very happy with how it performed on the 17" radials in the Florida heat. Conditions were not ideal as temps were in the high 80's but the track prep was very good. Car has a home ported eaton, 2.76 upper, 2lb lower, stock manifolds, trunk tank setup & is on E85. Made a total of 4 passes with the last 2 being the best. I was a little nervous the first 2 passes about breaking the car but once I got that fear out of my head and launched it the ET dropped 1/2 second. The last pass it went 11.07 but it hesitated between the 2-3 & the 3-4 shift. I feel like that would have been my 10 since the 60 and the 330 were a bit faster than the 11.04 pass.

SO close! Congrats on the 11.045 run. 10s are just around the corner if you go back to the track for more runs. Good looking Cobra!

Thanks! I'm going to go back when the weather cools off some. Goal was to break into the 10's with the Eaton. Good feeling knowing it's attainable with current setup!

Nice job! I'd love to get mine into the 10 range, good luck I'm sure you'll crack it.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be heading back to OSW Nov 1st for Friday night T&T.

Car is pretty much full weight(manual seat track, no rear amp deck, stock k-member, stock interior), IRS and still on the stock 10 spline input shaft haha.

That's a great time for just bolt-ons! Hopefully I have my car tuned by the 1st so I can head out to OSW. I have zero experience at the drag strip, all of the times I've raced it was from a roll, so I am not expecting great times but you gotta start somewhere.
