I may be buying my old ‘04 Mustang GT back. I already put a 2.1 Kenne Bell on it and MHS Stage 1 blower cams in it... assuming my plan works out to get it, I am trying to decide on my long term plan.

Here is what I am thinking:
Glenn’s Performance fuel system
MMR 1000 long block with Boss Block, trick flow heads, and stage 3 cams.
T-56 swap
Built 8.8
Replace the current exhaust set up (The bbk longtubes are all rusty)

Here is my dilemma... compression ratio... I was thinking about running 10.7:1 cr with a 10% overdrive crank pulley and the smallest pulley KB offers... with the heads, cams, And intake restriction, I don’t think the KB will be able to push enough boost for it to be problematic. Has anyone on here built something similar? I know the general consensus was lower compression ratio for twin screws.

thoughts?

There's a big difference between the two, as I'm sure you know. You need to decide. Build the engine according to the fuel, build the car according to the tire.
