Is this a common place for Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Just make sure they understand that many race functions require you to have it I think 6" from the firewall. Hard to tell in that pic but it looks too close. Does not matter for street use but this is something they need to be aware of if going to a sanction event.

Glens Performance regulator mounted on the left side near the firewall

I also have mine mounted on the drivers side firewall next to the brake booster.
I would think the fender well isn't ideal because of the debris that can be shot up at it during road driving.

isn't that for NHRA sanctioned races though? I only do TnT and maybe a track event here and there

Depends on the Track. I have seen tracks "enforce" NHRA and IHRA rules even for TnT nights. Every track is different. I just want people that read this post to understand if they choose to mount there it may be issues.

I do have my battery relocated to the trunk and I was also thinking about here.

Friend of mine has his mounted there. Same situation as far as the battery being relocated. No issues and it's been like that for a few years.

My regulator is up high enough no road grime is going to hit it. It's up higher than Bdubbs. The fenderwell liner fit fine in that area. But it bulges a little where I ran the lines right under the top of the fender. No issues yet, but I'll double check it again soon as I just dropped the coilovers back down a little.

I was able to put the regulator tucked away where the fender liner went back on so no road debris hit it or anything like that. I didn’t want to put it under the hood bring it gets so hot in the engine bay.

I've probably been through 50 tech inspections at at least 4 different tracks, not one tech inspector has said a word about my regulator....5.5" to the plastic cover on the firewall in any case :)

I completely understand and he/she may never even go to the track to matter but wanted to make sure the info is out there just in case.

I went to Home Depot and got a bunch of nice aluminum. I'm really liking the idea of mounting it to the front bumper bolts with a Z-bracket made from aluminum.

Are you guys just using self tappers for that fuel filter under the passenger side door?

It would seem like a pain is the a__ to adjust the regulator in the fender ..... I realize that does get adjusted much, just saying :)
