Spoiler alert, Ranger slaughters all in being an actual truck.

I wasn't impressed with the Ranger at all when I saw specs... after driving one, they're a nice truck.

I have not got a chance to actually drive the new ranger. But all the reviews that i have got to watch seem to say the ranger is the best out there.

Just saw this one at the dealer and it got the wheels turning...

Then saw a few more today on my errands

And now this thread. I’m thinking it’s a sign

After I saw the bent frame rails and big factory holes in the GM frame, not a fan of that truck.

Test was weak sauce. No wonder Toyota declined that gender fluid test.

Gladiator is the clear winner out of that group, though.

Ridgeline, really???

Lmao.

Ranger was the clear winner to me, Gladiator looks the coolest but for actual truck duty.. No thanks... Ridgeline can go suck a skin flute like all the owners do.

The Honda won because of its car like features and its car ride in a truck test. Makes sense...

What part of that was actually a truck test. Did they even leave the pavement or pull a trailer?

It was the first test that I’ve seen where the Ranger actually did decent.

True. Well they did talk about carrying 1k lb payload and the did talk about not being able to access the trunk while the bed is loaded with cargo...ok hinted barely.

GMC was last as it was expensive and basic(I thought that is what trucks were before they got to be $60k plus), Jeep was 3rd because it was expensive(it is, but can it do truck things, don’t know they did not test it), Ford 2nd because it was cheaper, Honda first because it’s a car.

interesting truck test.

I had this same question in July. I wanted a JL Rubi but they are $45k now. Next I wanted Gladiator but it’s more than the JL. Next the 17 250 still too high. Next the $33k advertised price of the 150 jumps to $38k with 0%. Next the TRD OR Taco dealer won’t deal.

I was so close to getting a Scat Pack Charger in F8 Green for $35k before another Toyota dealer came in a $4.5k off of msrp. Ended up with the TRD OR.

I did not look at the Ranger as it’s awful! Would love a Bronco at $40k or below but it’s not here yet.

Well damn. That car like Ridgeline has way more payload than my 19 Taco. My payload is under 1K pounds!
