I am considering getting a set of the Crower stage 2 supercharger cams and wanted to see if anyone else here was running them? if so did you run into any tunability or low vacuum issues and also what gains did you see from them?

I have Crower stage III and they are much calmer than Comp Stage IIIs. Most can't even tell I have cams. Once I found a tuner that knew what he was doing drivability was great.

I installed Stage 2's over the summer, degreed to Crowers specs.. I'll double check the manifoid vacuum but I believe it was 14" Hg. Tuning was done by Kevin Dunn and driveability is really good. The only issue remaining is a slight "surge" when transitioning from vacuum to boost but I've read that it's due to the low vacuum bypass valve on the blower and not much can be done about it. The car feels really strong across the RPM band, unfortunately I won't be able to get it on a dyno till spring.

I have Crower stage 3 blower cams and I dont have any drivability issues, but i did have my car tuned by someone with a lot of experience. I think it all depends on the tuner.

Thank you guys for the responses, I appreciate it. What pistons are you running? Will there be any piston to valve clearance issues if used with dished pistons without valve reliefs cut?
