That looks like an awesome movie. Great story line. I like Phoenix playing the Joker. Not what I expected, honestly. This is a must-see for me. Can't wait to see it!

I’d venture to say this portrayal of Joker will be one we haven’t seen before. Most follow the comic book portrayal then there’s the Ledger Joker. A more realistic sadistic no real motives other than wanting to watch the world burn type of villain; very few notions to making it a reiteration of the classic comic book Joker. This Phoenix Joker seems to be a more vulnerable outcast driven to insanity type, not the mobster of the comic book, or what theories of the back story of the Ledger Joker. Will definitely be an interesting watch. I hope it’s a success, we might get a sequel.

I think we're going to see the development of a psychopathic monster in this one, especially given the R rating.

In the animated movies he’s a straight up monster that kills for fun so it will be nice to see his take on it

Catch the Saturday morning matinee and loved it! So many great scenes; SPOILER

I forgot to punch out and when he dropped the gun in the children's hospital had me pissing myself.

It's hard to compare Joaquin's and Heath's portrayal of Joker, but I have to give the nudge to Joaquin. My God, his laugh was so menacing it gave me goosebumps! He did a fantastic job showing us the origin of the psychopathic killer clown and havoc released on Gotham City.

I saw it last night, it was darker than I expected it to be, but it was perfect, I'm really hoping they make another one.

Awesome movie. JP did an amazing job. He didn’t make the character sympathetic but made a character you can at least understand. I also like how open the movie is to interpretation as to what actually happened.

All actors did great, and was an even better movie than I expected.

Good to see positive reviews from those who've seen it. I'll watch it on my home theater; my wife guaranteed won't be there on the couch with me. LOL.

Just watched it. It doesn't even feel like a comic movie. It's creepy, sad, and downright uncomfortable in some parts. JP is awesome in the role, as is everyone else in the movie. I'm not anxious to watch it again, but it is a pretty good movie.

Saw it last night and I feel the same in that I wont be in a hurry to watch it again but we did enjoy it. My girlfriend used to work with inmates along with some mentally ill ones and she had trouble watching parts of it because of how real it felt and how the violence was portrayed, like the scissor part for example, she looked away. Thinking back on the talk show scene it felt so real like you were watching it happen in real time and I love how those last moments tied the whole movie into a greater storyline.

SPOILER WARNING**

I didnt quite get the ending though when he was running down the hallway with the blood on his feet. Did he kill the doctor and escape there?
