Bought my first Cobra today, I'm so pumped! Here is a pic of the engine bay, what exactly am I looking at here? A fuel pump? I bought it from a nice couple who inherited it from their father who just passed away. So they didn't know anything about the car.

Manual fuel pressure regulator was the car supercharged ?
The folks I bought it from don't know anything about the car. The father was in the middle of working on it when he passed away. How can I find out what I'm really working with here?
Definitely supercharged. I see the bypass valve hanging down there. Any more engine shots?
Interesting. I've got some investigating to do. Seems like a steal I got this car for 3 grand. And only 50k miles!

From that engine photo, it looks like the previous owner was in the middle of removing a supercharger. Maybe a Vortech supercharger?
Yeah that's kinda what I'm thinking. Gonna have to open it up and see what other mods he might've made.
Good buy for sure! Might find some good upgrades hidden there.
Great find!! Go back to where you bought it at. There is a Vortech setting on a table somewhere. Since the sellers seem to know nothing about cars. Tell them it is for emissions.
