Guys,

I have searched long and hard for an old post that listed different opinions on what steps in what exact order to upgrade the IRS (wheel hop, improved drivability, etc...) and I just cant find it. It was something like:
1. Sub frame connectors
2. Lower IRS cradle bolt replacement

12. Drag radials.

Any one remember that post enough to link it or care to offer up YOUR list. Please don't just say do the FTB kit. I am considering that but want to ensure that I am going in the right direction. Plus I would like to safe a bit of money and maybe not spent $1000 on the WHOLE KIT. Stiffler full kit is definitely happening.

Car is a weekend toy/cruiser with spirited driving in town and on and off the freeway. I always decline to race the ricer Civics :) !!

Sounds like you're talking about the red/blue pill thread. I think that one is long gone. I haven't seen it in a long time. My list includes the full FTBR set up along with the toe links. If you're looking for the bare minimum I would upgrade the diff and cradle bushings. Then decent tires and full subframes. I did that in my 01 and it made a noticeable difference.

That's all mine is really. With the occasional canyon run with imports. TBH I felt like the car rode better with the bushings installed.

Never drag raced mine, couldn’t care less about it. Still upgraded every bit of my drivetrain and suspension - whole new car now. Easy to find info on the subject.

Tons of reading on it...

Agree with Mr. Goffin above. Go through the whole subforums before reposting questions.
A quick search netted the following, some of which may be outdated, but a good start:

Also, go to FTB Racing and read all Bruce has to say about the IRS.
Might want to check out Maximum Motorsports also and read their tech.
BTW- the Stiffler kit may not be the best way to go.
Consider reading about the Griggs Racing World Challenge Kit.
Just be informed before you make decisions, do the work, and spend the money.
But you are on the right track. Chassis stiffening is probably the best and first mod to do on our cars.
It's not sexy, but like I always say, you can't align a wet noodle.
BTW-my street car has the super "Black Pill" which includes lower and upper SFCs block welded together, self installed.

I've been running my setup for quite a few years. Look at my sig. Probably in the 675+rwhp.

Pretty basic:

Run a good drag radial or Toyo R888/R888R.

I have h&r race springs, bilstein b8 rear shocks, ftbr diff bushings, 9/16 subframe bolts, lpw diff cover, and subframe connectors.

Zero wheel hop.
