My family has 45 acres of prime buildalble land. It is the last undeveloped lot in the area. Purchased in early seventies for peanuts. somewhere in the 30-40k range. Weekly developers send letters wanting to purchase it partial or whole in the range $3-5mil. It is crazy the amount dirt goes for nowadays.
The old white spot restaurant in downtown Vancouver sold for somewhere around $300 million for a corner lot.. I guess they were paying for the air space.

Too many variables to say.

I make just a tad over $100k on my own. I live in the same house that I bought when I made $45k. My wife went from making a decent amount, nothing crazy but it helped, to not making even $10k/yr due to hours worked.

Not bad for an Associate’s Degree, well three and not using one. Lol

I’d love to make more but I am doing well and I am comfortable enough to have all I need and some toys I want.

I cant believe this has gone 5 pages, and am wondering when 13cobra will fill in the blank to end the show. Then I wonder if this is the whole purpose, like how does a blue collar forum respond vs an elite private one. In reality, in the really elite private chats, high six figure incomes is what your kids make. And it isn't 100K, just ask Biden.

I'm not sure why this is so hard to comprehend.

I responded to “If I told you I was going to hire you and pay you a high six figure income, would you assume it's $150-199k or $600k+?”

There is no comprehensive or cognitive issues here. There is also no one making 600k+ at your dealership besides maybe the owner. So if you were to hire anyone it would be on the low end of six figures in a dealership environment hiring scenario. My response was appropriate.

There is a comprehensive issue here.

I did say what if I hired you....guess what, I'm in charge of hiring/firing for a few other companies/entities than just my dealership.

It's apparent that you're limiting your thoughts based on how large the number is, here I'll break it down to smaller numbers that you can relate with.

If you went to a dealership and asked a salesman how much a pre-owned Escape was selling for, and he replied back "upper teens", would you think he was referring to $13,000, or $16-19,999?

No Nick, I’m not moving to KC for any income... high 6 figure (650k+) or low (100-300)
:)

Man, we'd have a good time though!

I belong to a private Facebook group with a few thousand members. All are entrepreneurs, business owners, CEOs, etc. I was speaking with a friend of mine and he referred to $150k as a high six figure income.

So I posed the question to them. Ironically enough, I caught all kinds of shit because they thought I was demeaning people who made <$200k a year, when in reality I was literally just asking their opinion about what a high six income figure was.
150 was high 20 years ago.

IMO the whole thread is stupid as it doesn't factor in location.

I have higher hopes for you. lol

Let's try this.

What would you consider a "low six digit income"? Keep in mind, this number that you come up with has NOTHING to do with the actual value or purchasing power of the number...just solely a number.

$650k+ IMO

I make low 6 figures and feel poor (bay area), and my buddy made almost $500k last year at PG&E and made me feel even more poor, and I wouldn't consider him upper class by any means. He says they just hired a bunch of people and he won't be getting the same OT any more and will "only" make like $200k. I wouldn't really be too comfortable with anything honestly as long as I'm still working for a paycheck instead of bringing in my own residual income, but it's going to be a while before I'm at that level
