12.4V is essentially a fully charged battery. 14V is what the charging system will show when the alternator is doing its job. Not sure why you'd disable the BMS.

It's the work around for disabling the auto stop/start on F150's. You do it through ForScan.

It’s been a great truck, minus the alternator going out 3 days after I bought it. I’ve put about 20-25k miles on it since I bought it in June 2018. It’s tuned with 5 settings, deleted, exhaust, intake, air bags in the rear and a hitch in the front.

You do pay more up front for it but that does back in to it holding its value.
I've got an '03 that I'm going to have a hard time letting go. She is close to 270,000 miles and still runs good.

I finally got a truck when I bought a house earlier this year. My wife had one for all the wrong reasons when we were renting at the time and hated it for being too large and expensive to maintain at the time for me in 2006. But now it’s great to have one now that we can afford one and actually need it for home/garden projects.

Have that, but I just hit the button in the summer. Some stop lights here are close to 5 minutes, and in the cooler months the truck just sits there not running until I let off the brakes. 23 plus MPG city isn’t bad for a full size truck.

Ford is still confusing as hell. Upon investigation I still have questions remaining unanswered. Everything I've seen says the 2.7T is stout and underrated which explains why it is the only ecoboost available NEW. From what I have gathered in 2018 the 2.7T came standard with the 10 speed unlike previous years in which it was an expensive option. Apparently last year was the end of the 3.5T in the 150 but I can't seem to find out which auto came with it. The local dealerships with that engine/truck combo just say some b.s about being able to shift it on your own or such.

I built one yesterday and the only gas engines it offered me were the 5.0, 2.7 and that 3.X junk.

I literally built an 2020 XLT sport black edition with max tow with a 3.5 Ecoboost @13COBRA I’m telling you the 3.5 Ecoboost is still an option.

Relax. Take a chill. I'm just telling you what the website was offering me. Now maybe the specific configuration or such played a role but I don't know.

The XLT with the regular cab, 6 ft (no smaller bed) and 4x4 only gives me the option for three engines.

I've always wondered....

I was taught on average it takes the alternator 15minutes of engine run time to recharge the battery for one start. So, all these cars that have the auto shut off feature have to just go through batteries, right? Better/stronger alternators from the factory to make up for it? All that stop and start can't be good.
