New tow rig. I've cheated on Ford.

I'm kinda digging it. Congrats!

I agree with some of the others about not lifting it. I think it looks pretty good as is, height wise. Maybe a bigger tire?
If you do lift it, which lift and how much? Post photos when done.

Seconded, could just be the pics but I don't think that wheel/tire combo fits. Looks like the truck skips leg day

Exactly, just need slightly different offset and bigger tire to fill those wheel wells up a little more.
The width of the wheel wells tells me he can't fit much bigger tires in there. Maybe it's just the shape or the fact that they're accented with that lip, but the wheel/tire/gap/wheel well combo is not helping the look/stance of the truck

OP, not hating, just my humble opinion. Congrats on the new truck

Might be the square wheel wells vs the round.
That’s my biggest hang up on GM trucks, those square ass wheel wells. Though they really don’t do it too much on the new half tons, but big 2500/3500s it’s still pretty pronounced.
Check out what came with the truck stock! I get both sets of rims with the truck, but one set of rubber. Stock rubber is a 34x10.5, and really makes the truck look odd. I took the least offensive rim, and slapped as big a tire on as I dared, to try and make its "legs" look bigger. 37s won't clear without jacked keys at least. Add a piss poor offset selection by gm, most likely due to clearance issues, and you have to lift it to get an appropriate wheel and tire size, compared to how big the truck really is. That is a stock 18 Denali next to my truck in the second picture.

Very nice!

I think the AT4 is the best looking setup that GM has.
I’d do some bad things for a white one.
White would be killer! It's what we had, as there aren't many on the ground anywhere, and gm isn't building a ton of 20s yet. I'll black this baby out, and slap some ceramic coat on it, and just try and keep it shiny.

Another inch in offset, 2 inch keys up front, or enough to level it, and 2 inch blocks in the rear. Add some 37s and drive it.

I've never liked the ridiculous lifts in trucks, but by the time you throw bigger wheels and tires on any truck, they need a little lift to even things out.

I seen one at4hd with a setup like that, and it was perfect without being "that guy" with a lifted truck.

Nice!
Post up when you got it done. Interested in seeing how it looks.

Actually it looks like they took a page out of Dodge's book with mirrors that fold out.

OP, do those things flop out?
No flopping, they kinda slide on a hinge thing. Its not like fords slide out, the kinda oscillate out. It's weird.

They were about the most hated thing on the truck honestly. But once you drive it, you can see why gm did it. The view you get out through the a pillar area with the cutout of the mirror this way, makes you appreciate it. Just following a curb around a drive through, isnt a guessing game any more. So in terms of functionality, gm has the ace right now.

Nice. Always like the GM trucks then again I might be biased. Now the new Chevy front needs to get the designer fired, glad to see GMC didn’t follow the design.

The only thing I’d do is perhaps a little more tire, change up the wheels, but that’s it. By more tire I mean just that, not the big wheel rubber band tire ****** bullshit.
At what point are you in the rubber band ****** class? I’m rollin 35’s on 20’s, does that put me in that category?

Great looking truck. I have thought GMC trucks have always looked better then Chevy. Wheel wells do need work square with the reflector isn’t the good shit. Black out the reflectors and I think it would be better. Let us know when you tow with it. I bet it does well.

That truck is stunning. I can't even told you how many time I've "built" that truck online....

I am in the process right now of house shopping so I can't be spending 80 grand on a truck. I still love my 04 2500 HD Sierra though. In a few years I am buying a brand new GMC Duramax.

That is a good looking truck. Congratulations! The only thing I'm not crazy about are the mirrors. Too tall IMO. Other than that, I like it a lot!
