2008 GT500 Super Snake 850 rwhp with e85 tune (currently about 735 rwhp with 93 tune)

TITLE IN HAND! NO LIENS!

VIDEO WALKAROUND LINK: Copy link below and paste into browser. Bonus points for whomever counts correctly the number of times I say "uhh" during the video so I apologize for that in advance. Ha!

Autocheck VIN report available upon request.

Paint is 99.9% perfect

Interior is 99.9% perfect

This car is as close to factory mint as you can get for a car that rolled off the lot. There are cars brand new on dealer lots that are probably not as clean as this car. It's been professionally detailed with a 3 stage polishing/buffing detail by a very well known detailer in the local Indianapolis area.

Selling my beloved factory original 2008 GT500 with the added Super Snake package. This “Super Snake” package was added after purchase and was not installed by an “Authorized Shelby Installer”. What does this mean? It means you can own this “Super Snake” with 850rwhp just like it would have left Carroll Shelby’s shop for considerably less. It does not have a CSM# because it is not an official Super Snake, however, it is a true Shelby GT500 and has the true Ford Racing/ Shelby American Super Snake package instlaled, albeit not by a "factory tech". If that works for you, please continue to read about this amazing car consider it for exactly what it is… A 0-60 in sub 3.6 second Super Car with ultra-low miles with only 19k miles!

Car has never been to drag strip, track day, etc and was only driven on legal streets. However, this car was built to handle any track conditions.

2008 GT500 purchased in 2010 from Don Hinds Ford (Second Owner) and then my father purchased off of me just a couple years ago and has now decided to sell in order to purchase a Ferrari and use the proceeds towards that purchase.

Was bone stock when I purchased it.

Inspection: I will assist in any way I can to help get the car inspected at buyers expense. I have a lift in my garage so the inspection could easily be done by a mobile inspection company or I can assist in scheduling an inspection by any mechanic chosen buy buyer. This car will not fail any inspection, that I can guarantee. If any part of the inspection shows any major flaws I will immediately refund the cost of the inspection just to show how sure I am of the near flawless condition of this amazing car. Its hard to pinpoint the value on this car because the same car with a csm is a $70k car. I figured $40k would be fair, anybody have any thoughts? I’m a reasonable guy and honestly it took a lot for me to emotionally detach myself from it in order to estimate fair market value. The car is perfect and I enjoy the hell out of driving it. Thumbs up everywhere! I’ve got it on ebay too and after 6 days no bites which really surprised me even after lowering it from my $46k starting price to its current $39,999.

Since you asked, in my opinion you have a modded 08. Not even a "Super Snake tribute" as you equipped it with a VMP instead of a KB. Granted, they are ugly as sin, but if you wanted a true Super Snake knock off, it should be accurate. High KBB on the car in my area is $29,463, mods carry different added value depending on the buyer. Again, just my $.02 and I am not knocking you or the car. Just giving my take on the car and perceived market value.

I appreciate your input. Fair enough on the Super Snake issue. I’d keep it for $30k and enjoy it but I guess it depends on the market. I think a stock gt500 with 19k would be worth $30k all day long no? This one was done right and no money spared but a car is only ever worth what somebody will pay...

Fully agree and thanks for taking input as just that and not an attack. Do I think it is worth more than $29? Hell yes, how much more would depend on the buyer who wants it. The car is clean and like you said, the right person would pay more for sure.

The car has tasteful mods that any mindful 07-12 owner would add.

I think is a $35k car all day long and a bargain at $35k.

40 might be pushing it some but i don’t think 40 is unreasonable.

Sweet car and that VMP package really wakes it up.

I had a Trinity TVS on my 07 (not as nice of a blower as OP’s) and it completely transformed the car into an animal.

Ive not run the car with e85 but I can’t even imagine how incredibly fast this car would be. It’s already insane as is and I agree, the VMP 2R blower took the experience into a whole new level. Puts your head right back into the headrest that’s for sure.

That being said, I’ve made a decision to drop the price to my bottom dollar and if it sells great, if not I will just have to find a way to enjoy it, lol.

Whipple, TVS, VMP, etc.... At these power levels it's all academic. When you have close to 750 hp at the wheels with the option for 850 at the wheels simply changing fuel and a tune it is a crazy time we car guys are living in. It's great!

Your modification list has nothing outside of what I have been able to modify in my garage, including wheels. I don't refer to my car as a SS of anything.
SS are optioned out with Whipples or KBs. Most see it as a modded '08, me included.

Enough of that, good luck with the sale though.
VERY tough sellers market nowadays.

Thanks for heads up but Shelby didn’t exactly do anything mind blowing on a CSM numbered car that I didn’t have done in this car.

Call it what you want, modded GT500, SS Clone, etc... the car speaks for itself, tasteful mods, done right, for very, very little money considering the $20k I spent in parts alone.

Just for clarity, I don’t intend any snarky feelings in my post. I’m glad everyone has been open with their opinions as it helps me to price the car right. That being said, there isn’t another car this nice with this level of build for less than I’m asking. I think it’s a fair deal.

Thanks! I loved this car all the days I’ve owned it and it became a fun car for my father and myself to bring it to what it is today. I hope the next owner appreciates the car the way we have.
