Looking for some advice and experiences with Aeroforce, NGauge, PLX MultiGauge (or other recommendations) for my '03. I have an AEM wideband and a boost gauge on a 2 gauge pillar pod, but am looking to monitor some other things at the same time such as fuel pressure, IAT's, battery/alternator, oil pressure, etc. without switching constantly. I've been reading some threads on this the last few days and a lot of them are old or brand specific - I would like to see what's currently out there that you guys are using. I prefer an easy OBDII option. Would be nice to see codes and clear them.

Currently leaning towards the dual Aeroforce Interceptor. I've heard a lot of good stuff about them, but also that they're hard to read in daylight, especially with polarized sunglasses, and that they can have a constant draw on the battery that requires some to unplug it (which could be the same with the others, too). Not sure if the others have this, but the Interceptor can do 0-60, 1/8 and 1/4 mile time and speeds. Not really looking for options involving my phone.

Thanks.

I had an aeroforce in my car and I loved it. Never had to unplug it and I didn't have any trouble reading it. Only issue I ran into was if the gauge sat in direct sunlight it would almost melt. Couldn't read anything but after it cooled down it would work fine again.

I've got that ^^^^^^ one. U r right about the polarized sunglasses, those type of sunglasses make it IMPOSSIBLE to read the gauge. But it's an easy fix, I simply went out and found a pair of U/V blocking sunglasses that weren't polarized and all is good now. I keep those particular shades in the car.

Not sure about the constant draw on the battery. That hasn't been an issue and my car sometimes sits quite a while between drives.

Gauge has tons of options. Lets you read just about anything measurable on the vehicle. I don't use anywhere near its potential, LOL.

Pretty much this for my experience. Even with a new display it'll get dim when it's hot. I also have my wideband tapped into it as well as the boost reference.

Thanks guys. It looks like the green background is the easiest to see, even though I would rather have blue. Any experience between the different colors?

What about the SCT X4? I know it's big and not as easy to read as a normal gauge, but I spoke with the tuner that the previous owner used - they're a big shop that a lot of people use - and they said to bring an SCT X4 if I ever come to do a dyno/tune session there (which I probably will in the next year or so - I would like to think I'm content with the car now, but we all know what happens over time). I've never used an SCT product before, but looking at the X4 on their site, it looks like it would have all the info. I would want/be able to get that the Interceptor has. Is that right? It says real time data.

If that's the case, would I just want to skip something like the Interceptor and get the SCT X4? What do you all think? I don't want to pay $300-500 for the Interceptor(s), pod, etc., then end up getting the SCT a few months down the road.

A buddy of mine uses the X4 to watch his car. I'm not a fan. I like that the Aeroforce fits into the gauge pod. I really wanted an Ngauge until I saw it doesn't fit into the standard pod.

I like my aero force. Never noticed difficulty with sunglasses or heat.

Thanks, everyone. After a lot of back and forth and looking for deals, I found a new SCT Livewire TS+ at a very good price (would have gone dual Aeroforce as a close second). Drove with it yesterday for the first time and am happy with it.
