Is this the same physical car that went 277 mph in Nevada ?

That was their previous model, the Agera RS.

Their newest car, the Jesko, is the one that will likely be used for the top speed runs.

I really hope they post a less edited, non-Bugatti type video of the run. Like they did with their Agera RS video, it was more of a raw footage video.

That is what he was saying. This car is the Regera which is the newest model besides the Jesko which is coming. The car that did 277 was the Agera RS which was the previous car to the Regera and Jesko.

How about those Ford engines!

No.

I don't know 100% the timelines for what a car stopped being produced, but I think it happened in the following order.

The Agera RS was sold out and done.

The Regera then went into production and sold out.

Now the Jesko is soon going into production but is already sold out.

I think there are folks who bought a Regera but don't have it though. Just like the Regera was their "new" model at a time and people were still getting their Agera RSs. If I recall correctly, the Jesko was like 75% sold out before it was ever shown to the public and was then sold out within like 2 weeks of its first public showing. I think folks won't take delivery of their Jesko till like 2021.

This new record, set with the Regera, is very different from the Agera RS. The Regera has 1,500hp, 3 electric motors and no real transmission. More info here: Regera - Koenigsegg

Not really at all. They used a Ford block like 10 years ago and have since made their own. It might slightly look like similar from the outside, but that's like comparing a production 302 to a billet Nelson Racing engine.

he's actually a really down to earth dude who happens to have a ton of money. I saw a pretty cool documentary on him when they were initially designing the Jesko
