I thought that at first. I mean how much more stereotypical of a story can you make up? Who knows. It’s funny for sure

Really? 'Played the canuck stereotypes'?

Okay, here's the sincere and real truth of what I believe. Take it or leave it. I'm okay with either.

I apologize EVERY TIME I think I have screwed up or offended someone through no fault of their own. I don't look at it as weakness or being especially Canadian to admit I'm wrong and ask forgiveness. I may even apologize if I think it will smooth feelings and I'm not sure what, if anything, I did to cause it. I like people to get along and be happy.

I will obsessively say please if I ask your assistance or ask anything from you and you can bet I'll thank you for it as well. I expect my kids to do the same and they pretty much do every time. I'm proud of them for that because I don't see it all the time, even here in Canada where we are all supposed to be polite.

I won't apologize for any of the above and I sure as hell won't apologize for being Canadian despite some of the comments against Canadians. And you shouldn't either.

Have a great night and all the best.

I get being polite but excessively polite is damn cringe worthy, especially to the people receiving it lol. To each their own though... All this time I thought you were just joking as I honestly have not met many people up here that live up to the stereotypes.

Anyway, I guess you have a mclaren driver to send an apology letter and gift basket to. :D

Lol. I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. But I guess I claimed earlier that I would if anyone took offense. Clearly, you have.

Sorry, Smooth. I thought it was a funny situation and story. As you point out pretty regularly, I'm maybe not the greatest judge of funny. Thanks for trying to keep me on the straight and narrow. I appreciate your input.
